I'll start by saying a friend of mine who has been playing for many years and knows his guitars thought i paid twice as much as I did. Best overall sound and incredible electronics for the price. Sounds great plugged in. Not going to find better in this price range. One of the best selling acoustic guitars in the world for a reason.
I've been looking for years for an affordable decent lefty acoustic cutaway. been playing it for 3 months. it don't have the lows of a laramie but was much less expensive. I upgraded like I always do with ebony bridge pins and a ceramic bridge. the pickup is soo much better than the cheapos, and not as tinny as a taylor (hey its MY review) the midrange switch is great when strumming and i punch it off during leads to help them cut through. Its all I need. a little lighter in weight than I wanted.
