I am playing the Washburn DD70 black matte with a Mesa/Boogie F30 combo. First of all, let me say that this guitar looks awesome in black matte. All of the pictures I found online were silver, but trust me; the black looks great. I think it is an attempt to make you buy the DD75. The sound is incredible. Right out of the box, (once tuned) notes are clear, chords are crisp, and melodies soar. It feels very natural to play (unlike some BC Rich guitars that are very uncomfortable and unbalanced), is well balanced, and looks like a metal guitar. This guitar is extremely versatile and I have no complaints. Great guitar!!!
This is a very well made guitar for the price. The Poplar body gives it a nice funky tone and it's light weight. The neck feels realy good and the Seymour Duncan pickups are a pefect match. This guitar can play any type of rock music, not just metal.
