This(Made in China)Washburn House of Blues Special edition guitar is a great beginners first guitar.Don't expect professional sound from the includedhardware: The Bad Dog amp is really bad sounding, but if you plug this amazing guitar through a better amp= Marshall, Vox,or Randall, you will fall in love with the "warm" mellow sound you get from it! I have had this guitar fro almost 4 years and is still playing great. You might need to take it to a luthier(Guitar shop) to get it intoned fro an even better tone. I would recommend it fro any small gig performance it sounds that good. But if you need to impress your audience stick to a Fender,or a Gibson.Nevertheless it is a great "bluesy" sounding first or back up guitar.I love playing with it.
I waited about three months to test all the features. But after I had the guitar for about 1 week the strap broke. One pick lasted me the 3 months I haved had this guitar. The cable ripped in about 2 months, I got pissed, I didn't have another cable. The amp has bad sound quality and no features. The guitar sounds really good, just raise the humbucker a little. Great overall package, and a very nice price.
i bought this guitar about 5 months ago. i just got the guitar and bag so i dont know about the amp. The guitar looks nice, sorta like a PRS and Fender mixed. The pickups suck and i think it isnt a real humbucker anyway.it simply does not perform on overdrive. if your looking for a good cheap guitar stick to a squier or an Epi.
