This guitar is an awesome guitar. The pictures do not do this justice. It has very nice inlays in the neck and the headstock!!! I have an amplifier that is a behringer that emulates other amps and through all the clean and rectified settings it sounds awesome, no feedback and the voice control contour knobs allow you to dial in a true single coil sound that i believe is much better than any push pull pot. Overall its a great purchase for any hobby or actual working musician.
The WI45 is a beautiful guitar. The body has some nice curves that don't show up in the pics. The white and cream binding looks great. Randall UL/SL pickups are very warm and sound incredible clean. The SL is not a very bright crunchy metal pickup, it sounds best when you're playing full chords, very clean and articulate. The VCC system is great, all of the tone shaping options are still there, plus the VCC all the way down gives you a nice noiseless single coil sound. If you like it twangy, this is not the guitar for you. It is hard to get an extra bright tone out of it, but perhaps a pickup change could remedy that. Overall, this is a great deal on a guitar that is loaded with features and versatility.
