I weaseled a guy into this guitar for 300$, new. Absolutely amazing feel and playability. Even at the price listed on here this guitar is a great deal. I was having trouble deciding between Jackson and Schecter, but the second I saw this guitar I was sold, BUY THIS GUITAR!
I absolutely LOVE this guitar. I got mine before they started putting Seymour Duncans in it so I upgraded mine to Duncans. It looks sounds and plays so amazing. I play hard rock, classic rock, and blues and this guitar does it all with no problem. I have slightly small hands and this guitar fits me perfect. Look at all you get: Duncans. Grovers. Buzz Feiten Tuning(which rocks)Mahogany body. Quilted maple top. Set neck. Now look at the price. Its a steal isn't it?
I got the X50Q (not with Duncans but with Washburn humbuckers) and put 2 DiMarzio Tone Zone's. The guitar looks, feels, plays and sounds fantastic. The balance is exceptional, the Grovers are good, the set neck is a very pleasant surprise, especially at this price. The pots are very smooth and placed comfortably. The neck and frets feel very nice and all 24 frets are accessible! It costs about 500 euros in Greece(the X50Q), you must add some money to put 2 decent buckers, but still the price is good. Of course, in US or other countries, the price is unbeatable. I got 2 Strats, owned a Les Paul for 12 years, played a lot of guitars over 20 years, I tell you this guitar will make you wonder ... Go play one. Chances are you will buy the same model you just tested, to get sure it plays that way! Congratulations to Washburn!
