Comments about Nady MicroMGT-16X Guitar Wireless System - Recessed Semi-Angled Plug:

Fortunately, I had none of the experiences of the other user. This thing works great for me. I have been using wireless, live and at home, for about 16 years. My original Samson TD unit still works great, but it requires A/C and cords. I bought this to use with portable units and mini amps outdoors, where I have no plugs and want no cords of any kind.
Once I got the volume control on the receiver set correctly, I got crystal clear signals all around my property when playing outside. It is also exceptionally clear when used in the home office/studio with massive amounts of wifi and other electronic disruptions. It was really good on the super clean tones as well as the mega high gain stuff. I would recommend it, and more, I would buy it again... I wish it seemed a little tougher, but you're not supposed to be whacking the guitar into things. I got the inline one so I could use it with the flush mount jack on a strat, but it does 'stick out a bit' when used with side jacks on 'super strats' and others. I wish it pivoted. But I found no others that use batteries and have ZERO cables required. For under 200 it's a great little unit. I would easily gig with it.

    Loss of tone, buzz.

Comments about Nady MicroMGT-16X Guitar Wireless System - Recessed Semi-Angled Plug:

I prefer a guitar bud over a body pack and am spoiled by being cord free. Unfortunately this unit had a serious loss of tone and a buzz accompanied each note - it was like each note was wrapped in a buzz. The unit did stay silent when the guitar was silent. I made sure my computer and other electrics in the room where off and I tried several frequencies. I ended up returning the unit and Musician's Friend was great about that.

I guess you need to pay more to get a good wireless unit, especially if you want a good unit with a guitar bud instead of a body pack.
