Comments about Alesis Q25 25-Key Keyboard MIDI Controller:
I use this with Logic Pro to create midi tracks. I bought it because it was inexpensive and small; I thought I would use it some but not enough to justify a high-end keyboard. It's mostly straight forward. I have only used a few of the features (up and down octaves option), and the shifters. For the money, it's a good buy.

Comments about Alesis Q25 25-Key Keyboard MIDI Controller:
This is not an advanced keyboard, which is what I like about it. Lightweight, plug-and-play, small, and one assignable fader for basic automation needs. I have this sitting on my desk right above my qwerty keyboard in order to quickly preview synth patches and record simple 1-octave parts.

Comments about Alesis Q25 25-Key Keyboard MIDI Controller:
My primary DAW is Sonar and it was a simple plug n play connection.
Mostly a guitar player I did learn to play piano on a Steinway and Hammond C3 so I appreciate the full size keys and weighted touch that adds dynamics but it doesn't have the feel of an actual quality keyboard. Then again I bought it to add fills and some background keys and not to give a concert on it.
It's small, light and fits in a cubby hole on my desk. It is light enough not to be a hassle moving around yet has enough heft to it that it appears to have some longevity built in to it.
Overall; It does what it's supposed to do and has the build quality to do that for quite a while.
P.S. The comment about only coming in black was a joke.
