Superior, portable, piano-like performance for home, studio, or stage.

The Casio Privia PX-330 redefines the digital piano category with unprecedented sound quality and performance in a sleek digital keyboard that's supremely portable. Featuring the latest grand piano samples and a Tri-Sensor 88-note scaled hammer action keyboard, the Casio Privia PX-330 is versatile enough for any home, studio, or stage.

Realism, expression, and dynamics
The PX-330 keyboard's grand piano sounds deliver an unprecedented level of realism and expression. Four dynamic layers of stereo piano samples are integrated with Casio's proprietary Linear Morphing System, for a grand piano sound with seamless transitions and a superior dynamic range. For added realism, the PX-330 simulates the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal using Acoustic Resonance DSP (digital signal processor). The Casio PX-330 also has 128-note polyphony, enough horsepower for the most demanding musical passages, and the ability to layer sounds and use the damper pedal without the worry of dropping notes. The result is a digital grand piano experience that is unsurpassed at this price.

Truly expressive touch
The Privia PX-330 features a Tri-Sensor 88-note scaled hammer action keyboard. Casio's superior engineering results in an authentic piano touch that captures every detail and nuance of your performance. This scaled hammer action provides the weight, feel, and resistance of a piano without sacrificing the portability of the instrument.

Performance, studio, or stage

The superior keyboard action, piano sound, and built-in USB MIDI interface make the Casio PX-330 the perfect music keyboard to integrate into your studio. When you're ready to take your Casio PX-330 to a gig, the built-in registration memory instantly recall splits, layers, and combinations of sounds. The Casio PX-330 also has 1/4" outputs for great live sound from your amp or the house PA system.

A 16-track recorder, pitch bend wheel, and more
While it's easy to connect the Casio PX-330 keyboard to your computer, you can easily create and compose music using its internal 16-track recorder. Use the Casio PX-330 digital keyboard's 250 on-board sounds and 180 rhythms to record up to 16 tracks. The Casio PX-330 keyboard accepts SD (secure digital) memory, so you can save your songs and take them with you or load standard MIDI files that you've downloaded from the web. With these flexible tools, you can capture moments of creativity and remember your song ideas.

The Casio PX-330 also works great as a practice tool. A built-in metronome and optional accompaniment mean you can practice in time and listen later to what you've just played. A pitch bend wheel gives you full expression for 250 tones. Plug in other instruments or an MP3 player and hear them through the Casio PX-330 keyboard's internal speakers and headphones.

Whether you're at home, working at a studio, or out on stage, the Casio PX-330 88-key digital piano was created to tackle it all. With its light weight, you can easily take your Casio PX-330 from home to rehearsals to the gig and back with no worries. Such a deal!!!

Features:

I give a little less than a top score because the print is small and dark gray against black for describing button effects.  Also I would love to have seen more demo songs in the built-in memory.  However the action on this keyboard is terrific.  If you hit the key less you have a soft sound and pound the key and it rings out loudly.  It is like having a real piano.  SUCH A DEAL!!!  For people who want this to be a gig keyboard it really wasn't meant for this and a gig keyboard sells for way more.  But it is great some guys are able to still use it as such.

Excellent Value!

Overall:

This is a very good digital piano for the money. The feel is excellent  and the sounds are pretty good too. I have to get mine checked because  it makes strange noises sometimes, ususally when I play big chords or  when I play heavy "tumbaos" (im a salsa pianist). But besides that, you  get more than what you pay for. It's also really light weighing only 30  pounds or so.

I am not a Casio fan in general, but I needed a gig piano and took a chance on this. I am so glad I did. As a bit of an accoustic snob (I have an accoustic baby grand in my home) I was really worried about the responsiveness of the keys and the feel. This is a fantastic keyboard, I can switch between this board and my $15,000 accoustic at home with almost no akward readjustment at all. Get a decent and amp and you will get the tones you need. The lower octaves and deep and soulful, the high octaves are like gorgeous soprano descant notes - to trilling bells on the baby. I like this set of keys so much I'm going to buy one for my church to replace their board. Casio has changed their game in the last few years I guess because this board competes with the big boys in my opinion!

Good for at home...

Features:

The sound configurations are down right strange. Plugging in a 1/4" out does not disable the internal speakers. In order to do that, you have to insert a 1/8" plug into the headphone jack, which seemed to cut the decibal level coming out of the 1/4" line out. The display is fine, but the labels surrounding the buttons are extremely difficult to see. I would have to bring a stage light on stage to read them.

Quality:

Solid, no issues.

Value:

Good value.

Overall:

I think Casio has a serious design flaw with the sound and that needs to be fixed. The keybed feel and sounds are top notch. Unfortunately, as a live musician, I can't use them. It's a shame. I need to return this board.
