This is a great Keyboard from what I can tell, and so is the Yamaha DGX 300, but it seems to me that the DGX 300 offers more for its price compared to this one. While the both have removable memory, The DGX offers Stereo sound as well as a teaching program. The DGX also Is more compatible with your PC because it uses 3 1/2 Floopy while the casio, and many people may not have the means of using this type of storage, uses SmartMedia.
This board has it all that meets that eye. Very pretty, i havent fully taped its resources yet but guaranteed i will. I think the best thing about it is that the strings dont sound really cheesy witch it usually the problem i have with some instruments. Its good, i recomend it.
Hands down for the money this is your machine. A wide variety of tones with the ability to add more, and they all sound great. The features are great and blow out the Yamaha PSR's and DGX's competing.
It's the best: it play's all tones very well. The organ is of course my favorite instrument on it.it's got very good rhythm to it.
This keyboard will blow your mind-I was shopping at my local music store for a nice new production keyboard and the WK-3000 found me! After sound testing about 30 different keyboard/workstations, this board blew the competition out of space. It's realistic organs and digital effects can hypnotize any proffesional musician.
Amazing sound!! Stereo speakers have great bass.Maybe a built-in program to learn some songs would have been interesting for beginners. But this is PRO keyboard!
I stopped to play it and bought it on the spot. I also own a Yamaha PSR540 Keyboard an although it has more features, the Casio has some better sounding instruments. The one limitation is that it plays back only MIDI SMF0 format. You can convert the files using freeware off the web. The B3 organ sounds are unbeleivable at this price. Great job Casio.
I bought this board, a floor model, from the Guitar Center in Medford Oregon and intend to upgrade to the WK3500 as soon as they get one in stock.I changed from a Yamaha DGX300 to get this board. I has great sound on the internal speakers. Better than the external Altec Lansing speakers I was using on the Yam. I know because I tried the externals on the Casio and the WK3000 internal speakers are better!Once I get the 3500 I won't change unless Casio brings out something better in this price bracket.
I recently got this 76-key Casio 3000 model from internet for very affordable price.I tested and upgrade the extra tones and styles from Casio music site for free and HOW amazing it is. Everything works in harmony more than I ever expected from a NOT a YAMAHA kb. I also own a PSR-640 composer model for almost six long years of practice the eMusic. Thank you Casio for doing very good job of bringing this versatile WK-3000 model to the market @ such an affordable deal.
This keyboard is worth the money. There is so much you can do with it. I have not yet opened up with it just yet, but it has done the trick so far.
