Comments about Yamaha NPv80 76-Key High-Level Piaggero Ultra-Portable Digital Piano:

I did a fair bit of research before I purchased this online. The deal breaker for me was the keys are smaller than a standard key size, therefore is just OK. It also seems to be presented as a big brother to the NP-31, which does have full sized keys. OH Well! Its a battery operated portable with alot of sounds, which is what I wanted. Some very useable sounds, sounds really good with headphones.

Comments about Yamaha NPv80 76-Key High-Level Piaggero Ultra-Portable Digital Piano:

As a pianist who gigs 3-6 days per week, this is a back savers dream come true at 15lbs. But it took me over a month to get used to the light and slippery keys. And be careful, the buttons are cheap and easy to damage, but for someone who's owned over 30 keyboards over the years, this one has good sound quality in mono, and great in stereo.

I listened to several keyboards in the store, and this one sounded the best by far. My daughter loves playing her keybaord, and we're all very happy with her performances on it.

Comments about Yamaha NPv80 76-Key High-Level Piaggero Ultra-Portable Digital Piano:

I Bought this because of its portability and reputation.
The built in speakers are awful, most likely due to its extremely lite weight. Pair it with a good sound-bar or speakers and the results are awesome.
Will use it for gigging, practice at home and teaching.
Pawning my Fantom X7 real soon.

I love this piano and heres why-it sounds like a piano! Shocking isnt it? While all manufacturers are making that claim, Yamaha actually delivers on it.The NPv80 has real warmth in the lower octaves and just the right sparkle in the higher octaves to give it that true piano sound. Play a downward glissando on these Graded Soft Touch keys and youll hear (and feel) why this keyboard is sharps and flats above the competition.Piaggero, meaning piano and light, is apropos in describing this beauty. Its a piano, its light, and is a lot of fun to play. With a great piano voice, generous supply of other voices, split and layer functions, 165 styles for accompaniment, a fun little arpeggiator, easy to use recording capabilities and what more could you want?Buy it. Love it.
