Comments about Yamaha PSR E333 61-Key Mid-Level Portable Keyboard:
I bought a similar yamaha 5 years ago and it was indispensable. I gave it to my daughter who needed something to play in her apartment when she moved. I purchased the E333 (a step up) and got a great deal. The service and shipping was fast; the products excellent - as expected.

Comments about Yamaha PSR E333 61-Key Mid-Level Portable Keyboard:
This is a great keyboard, and for the price, unbelievable. I had a DGX that cost 4 times this price and this has pretty much the same sounds and styles. Nice sounding piano, some decent organs and strings and horns, touch sensitive keys - and the light weight, AA battery portability - make this a great axe to take to parties or camping or weekend trips. Add the ability to update styles via computer, and you have an instrument that's fun to pick up and play at home: tinkering in bed, on the deck, or wherever.
Only downside is ease of use of the controls. The Fill button is hard to find - should be a different shape and larger. (I put colored tape on it.) And functions like transpose and master octave could be easier to access. I'd also love to be able to save voices, styles, function settings, etc. to the music database, but that's just being a greedy. Overall outstanding keyboard value.

Comments about Yamaha PSR E333 61-Key Mid-Level Portable Keyboard:
The PSR E333 61-Key... it is listed as a "Mid-Level" keyboard. I would classify it more as low-end or beginner. It also lists it as a "Portable" keyboard. If by portable they mean very light weight with a cheep plastic feel then, sure. But it does not have any handles, it is big bulky and awkward. BUT... as for a the function... the keyboard has really good sounds, lots of programmability and relitively easy to use. Also make sure you order an adaptor because it does not come with one. Otherwise you will run through batteries quickly.
Comments about Yamaha PSR E333 61-Key Mid-Level Portable Keyboard:
I love the light weight and compact size of the PSR E333 Portable Keyboard that make it easy to take on trips. I'm using it for practicing piano when I travel. The grand piano sound is excellent through headphones; I have not tried the built-in speakers.
I don't feel qualified to rate the features, because it offers a lot of features I will never need, but which I'm sure are useful to composers, arrangers, or band members.
For portable piano practice, it would be nice if the keyboard had adjustable touch as my more expensive digital piano does.
Although very lightweight, it seems sturdy and well-balanced. I found it easy to play.
The price is quite reasonable for such a set of capabilities and that great Yamaha grand piano voice.
Comments about Yamaha PSR E333 61-Key Mid-Level Portable Keyboard:
A decent starter/practice board (I wouldn't call it 'mid-level'), probably good for a student starting out - has some 'lessons' built in. Music 'library' is a nice feature for practice or creating - or entertainling a youngin'. Stated weight is just under 11 lbs. Purchased as a board I could take on trips and such (can run on batteries, has speakers) without being panicked about damage/loss.
Lots of sound/voice/song features for an inexpensive board. Touch sensitivity is pretty good. Internal speakers are adequate with limited volume. Connectivity and recording is also limited, but for the price...
All plastic, but appears solid enough, definitely would not want to drop! Keys are cheap, feel is good, not for finger slides! Most voices are just OK, some worse, basic piano voices are good, some noise is present. Wouldn't want to drag this to gigs (if sound quality would work for you) without extra - extra care, pay more and get a more rugged and better sounding unit if that's your need.
Decent value for the money. A good starter or 'beater' board. Have only had a short period so can't comment on reliability, but I've had very good experience with Yamaha equipment.
