61 regular-sized touch sensitive keys and 96-note polyphony.
It features multiple samples across the keyboard with sophisticated velocity switching”for incredibly authentic instrument sounds. It contains not only the basic samples of the instrument but also the performance techniques used with it. On a guitar for instance, players will hear open and mute string sounds, dead notes, hammering effects, slide effects, harmonics and a wide range of strum and body noises. In technical terms, Mega Voice duplicates an instrument's behavior. In sonic terms, this gives the keyboard stunningly realistic sounds.
This special function not only gives you a full set of rich and luscious organ sounds, it also lets you create your own original organ voices, just as on a traditional organ, by increasing and decreasing the flute footages, and adding percussive sounds.

- The LED light went out under the screen.
It seems the adjustable LED light went out right away. Screen is not visible. Suppliers and stores that sell the keyboards either can't of won't service the dead LED. I'm no Ray Charles. I need to see the screen. Also, the selector buttons for voice changes lock up in the middle of a performance. Every performance is a gamble. I never know which voice or rhythm this thing will make. Embarrassing and unreliable.
- Was this a gift?:
I purchased this keyboard looking for simplicity of use, as a primary criteria! This keyboard does that right out of the box. The various rhythm tracks cover a wide range, and the beginnings and endings are very good indeed. I use this keyboard doing single jobs, and also with an R&B Band that I play with. I highly recommend this keyboard to someone looking for great sounds, and easy operation. The only concern was the all plastic cabinet, I treat it with kid gloves, so far, so good.
I purchased the psr-s700 keyboard and upon arrival I immediately was impressed with the onboard sounds and flexibility of the keyboard. It takes a little practice, but within a short time, you can make GREAT music with this keyboard! The organ sounds are great and you can adjust them, just like drawbars on the old Hammonds. Lightweight, killer sounds, and a price that can't be beat---what a wining combination, Go Yamaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
