Comments about Yamaha PSR-S950 61-Key Arranger Keyboard:
The PSRS 950 is an upgrade from the PSRS 910 which I also had. I found both of them to be excellent for performing either solo jobs or with a guitar player as a duo. The accompaniments are excellent (and not cheesy), and it's easy to find a suitable accompaniment for any type of song. I save my favorites to a flash drive. The speakers on the 950 are definitely an improvement over the 910. I wish that it had three outputs so I could separate the drums, bass, and right hand, but I guess that would raise the price a lot. I was able to take the styles and registrations I saved on the flash drive for the 910 and plug the flash drive into the 950. Saved me from having to re-invent the wheel. Since the keyboard is fairly lightweight (25 lbs), it's easy to transport.

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S950 61-Key Arranger Keyboard:
The Yamaha PSR-S950 is a blessing in Disguise, as I had done a little research on the Yamaha Website
and discovered that this is an actuall Tyros 3 in disguise! The S950 has EVERY Voice the Tyros 3 had, but without the Tilting Screen on the Tyros 3. What I like is that it DOESN'T have the Tyros Price Tag, which makes it even more affordable and wanted, at least by me. Can't wait to get my hands on one between now and Summer 2014, I AM saving my Pennies

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S950 61-Key Arranger Keyboard:
I was initially disappointed in that the new mp3 player feature, although easy to use on its own, is somewhat difficult to incorporate into a live performance. Although the mp3 can be saved to a registration file and loaded this way, there is more button pressing and screen changes to get it to play. The name of the mp3 appears in small letters in the top left of the screen,as if it were an after thought. However, a loaded midi file shows in a different location in large clear letters. Whereas on my Korg PA3X 76 note model, two button pushes and the mp3 or midi file plays and you can easily see which file is loaded. However,I will put up with this as the new Yamaha PSR-S950 has better voices, effects and styles than the Korg. And the Vocal Harmony 2 is wonderful, the best on the market in an arranger keyboard.Just tidy it up a little Yamaha! And with a seperate output for the mic and please, please, please a 76 note version of this PSR-S950 keyboard will make it the best out there.

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S950 61-Key Arranger Keyboard:
Very nice keyboard I love it and would definitely recommend it! It has good sound realism, good speakers and some good voices. It's great for arranging and composing music - its not a tyros but good especially for its price range. Wish there were more SA voices and styles.

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S950 61-Key Arranger Keyboard:
1)The PSR S950 is a joy to play. It sets a new standard for Yamaha's MOTL keyboards.
2)Practically all voices, especially new "Sweet" and "Super Articulation" sounds are extremely realistic and useful.
3)Good application of audio drums in 25 of the 408 styles - but why only 25? It should be 125!
4)Inadequate amount of expansion memory - a mere 64mb allows only for one expansion pack at a time.
5)Despite some of the minor irritations of this keyboard (no keyboard is perfect), it is superb in many ways and I have no reservations recommending this model to a friend.
