Disappointed in Yahama YPG-535 88-key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard

It has lots of potentially good sounds but on mine they do not measure up.  If it sounded like the demos it would be fantastic!  Mine sounds like an out of tune piano.  If this was my only experience with Yahama I would be inclined to never even consider anything that has the Yamaha name on it.  I am used to playing a REAL Yahama grand piano that is wonderful!

I was not able to play it much right after receiving it and discarded the carton and packing or I would have sent it back.

The touch is horrible!  If I play a little harder to increase volume the sound is distorted - just horrible!

I have a 61 key Casio that is about 38 years old and the touch on it is really good.  No distortion when played heavier.

I will not recomend this to anyone.

When I got this keyboard yesterday I stayed up till 3am playing with it. It has hundreds of things you can do with it, it may not be a casio and feel like a real piano but I personally like it better because there is soooo much you can do with it. all the 500 voices are as realistic as they can get. they keys arent weighted which kinda sucks for using the piano but otherwise i have not one complaint. lastly the speakers sound amazing and of very high quality. One of the best items i have bought in my life :)

If you're looking for a cheap professional keyboard, then you should save your money for a little while longer. This is a great in-home keyboard with lots of features and nice sound for recording, but if your like me and are expecting a whole lot more than your cheapy Yamaha 76 key keyboard, then save up your money for something professional.

Packed full of features, for the price. The Grand Piano sound is good once you reduce the on-board effects. Was disappointed that it doesn't have a piano-feel. Was really hoping for a weighted action, but overall, I can't complain. It's a beautiful board, sounds great, and had a reasonable pricetag. I made a great choice.

I received my Yamaha piano to-day and I am very surprised at the quality of the product for the price. I took lessons when I was young. I am retiring, and plan to start learning all over again. After two hours I learned a lot about this piano, and I am excited to learn to play. This site delivered 100%. I will do all of my music shopping from them. What a great store. If your thinking about buying this product you should.
