The Yamaha MS-6213 setup features a compact, wood shell Power-Lite Series Snare Drum with carrier that is scaled-down and lightweight— designed specifically for students. The marching Snare is ideally balanced and made of the finest materials to guarantee a big, powerful sound. This set is great for non-competitive marching programs that require lighter instruments at an affordable price. Designed as a scaled-down version of the Field Corps Series, they share many of that series' high-end specifications and materials, which are crucial to sound and durability.

The Power-Lite snare drum has an 8-ply mahogany and beech shell, 1.6mm triple-flanged steel rims, zinc alloy lugs with reinforced walls and webbing, and nylon and metal washers. With 3 protective feet and ET carrier clip.

Yamaha RM-PLS Power-Lite Snare Drum Carrier
Scaled-down, extra-lightweight aluminum carrier that is designed specifically for the younger percussionist. It comes with an ET carrier clip receiver.

I do not like this Drum at all . My school marching band owns these and I have got to say , they are really bad .

Ive had this snare drum for nearly an year and it's still like new! I would recommend this to Marching percussion for the reason that its tone is really sharp and loud
