About as good as it gets for my style. Might not be right for you, but you won't know until you try them. If you play low ans slow, these aren't for you. If you catch that Orange Blossom Special often, these will do nicely. Maybe they're not perfect, but I've never done better for the way I play.
Strings don't have a lot of features, these tune easily, and sound great, if you like to lay down the boogie fiddle style. Not made for the classical stuff, unless you mean classic bluegrass or rock.
As good as it gets for this type of string. No reason to spend more, these are great, last a good long time, and stay tuned pretty well, after the initial break in period.
I've paid much more for strings that aren't as good, for my purposes. I like to send the rosin flying, and wear bow hairs out quickly. Blame Charlie for that, he showed me how to play. Charlie Daniels, that is.

I have no words to describe how horrible these made my violin sound. No words. So I'll describe the strings instead. They are for all practical purposes guitar strings. Each string has to be cut nearly in half to make it the right length for the violin. Imagine you were in a bind and had to open up a pack of Ernie Ball Slinkys to string your violin with. That's just about what it's like. They feel terrible under the fingers, and the windings would no doubt have shredded my bow hair to bits had I played on them much longer than the five minutes it took me to decide to throw them in the garbage. Don't waste your money.

These are great cheap violin strings!

            By Gerard1973

            from Oxford, MI

Comments about Black Diamond Silver-Plated Fiddle Strings:

Black Diamond strings have been around for many years. My grandpa used to use Black Diamond strings on his guitar.

There is NOTHING wrong with these strings unless you are ridiculously picky. I use them and never had any problems with them.

These are great cheap violin strings!

            Gerard

Not the BEST violin strings in the world but they play fine.

            Black Diamond Strings

            By wilee1551

            from Attleboro, MA

Comments about Black Diamond Silver-Plated Fiddle Strings:

I recently purchased a set of these strings for my wife's violin. The G string doesn't fit in the fine (bridge) tuner, and the overall quality is reflected in the low price. I would suggest spending a little more for alot more quality.
