Unfortunately the quality of the instrument is so low I will be returning it. the tuning pegs will not keep a tune, so poorly in fact that attempts to tune the A string even cautiously caused it to snap. The C G and D would not keep tune long enough to finish the next string. the Bow was flimsy but I'd say it would have been workable if the rest of the viola was a better constructed. The case is very sturdy so no complains there. the neck did not even have its final finishing stain applied to it. The instrument felt more like a cheaply produced toy. This is Not an entry level instrument, I am a stage guitar & piano player, and I do not have any real experience playing viola/violin, however there is no craftsmanship placed into this instrument.

i am very pleased with the product, sound coming from the instrument is beautiful, eveything on the viola looks good. for the value i wasnt expecting much, but looks like its a keeper.
i think for the price you cant beat it, im not pro, but for a beginner i think this is good, i might not let it go.

I have owned this viola for almost four years now. It sounds so loud and beautiful. It makes a great sound. I have been first chair in my orchestra three years in a row. I always get nice comments on my Viola from my directors and peers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I love my Viola.

I have owned this beauty (16 in.) for almost 3 years now. The acoustics are very rich and attractive. When it arrived, the bridge was already installed, but during tuning, the A string snapped. Only flaw. However, I haven't replaced a string since, and I play almost daily. I have played other violas, but this is the best by far. Recommend for beginner and intermediate players, maybe even some pros. Please give this viola a try if you are in the market.

I ordered the Doreli Model 89 Viola Outfit and received it in a very timely manner, only to be disappointed in the quality of the viola. The case was very nice but the viola was very difficult to tune. Once I did have the first two strings in tune, they didn't hold but for a very short time. The A string snapped before I was even able to get that tuned. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this viola. If I had it to do over again, I would certainly purchase a viola of higher quality. I am a raw beginner and couldn't justify spending a lot of money. I have had this viola for all of 45 minutes and am already ready to write a rave review. I am making beautiful sounds, hearing clear tones, on something that is pleasing to the eye as well. For someone that wants to start and explore, you can't beat this price and this instrument.

The case alone is worth the price you pay for the whole outfit. The instrument is a great quality. I only had to make a slight adjustment to the bridge, but you'll find that with any instrument. Compared to other violas in its price range it has a superior look and tone. One of the finer Stradivari copies in its price bracket. Great for anyone from beginner to advanced.
