My first rosin and was easy to get my new bow ready for playing. I use a bent paperclip to rough it up when I need to apply more. The raised guides help me quickly rosin up.

Good light rosin, perfect for violin use. Square blocks tend to be less messy and more effeciently applied to the bow than the blocks. This rosin has a good balance of pull on the string without being too sticky.
The only downside is the cork holder--looks great, but is not really necessary. It is somewhat fragile, tending to crumble if you're not careful putting it back in its case--not really a big deal, though. After all, I bought it because the cork seemed neat, so it sold me!
