A really expensive shoulder rest that looks good, but feels no better than plastic rests

I have used the Mach One shoulder rest since 2000. It is very comfortable, even though the only "padding" is a thin strip of suede glued to the wood. The height is easily adjustable by screwing/unscrewing the legs from the body. It is much lighter in weight than all of the other shoulder rests I have tried--and that has been many! The ONLY problem I have had with this rest is that it tends to fall off of my violin--but that, I will attribute to the narrowness of my violin, as no other rest has ever stayed on it either. The rubber feet are much more durable than most. So far I have never had to replace anything on this shoulder rest, and it shows almost 0 signs of wear-&-tear, even after almost a decade of use. Would recommend to most players.
