Yes, today's gear is exceptionally reliable–but sometimes even the highest-quality gear will have a part fail through no fault of your own. No matter what happens, we stand behind what we sell. We'll fix it.
Every guitar or bass you purchase (either electric or acoustic, New or Open Box) automatically includes our 2-Year Free Warranty, with two years of protection from manufacturer defects.* Just contact us directly, and our highly trained, USA-based service department will provide easy return instructions and get to work making things right. You can even choose to fix a problem under the manufacturer's warranty without limiting your 2-Year Free Warranty. 2-Year Free Warranty warranties are exclusive to Musician's Friend and should not be confused with a cooperative warranty from any manufacturer warranty. To use a 2-Year Free Warranty service contact Musician's Friend, not the manufacturer.
Coverage applies only if your product malfunctions under normal operating conditions; sorry, but 2-Year Free Warranty is not a "no-fault" warranty.
2-Year Free Warranty from Musician's Friend resides with the original owner and is not transferable.
Making a 2-Year Free Warranty claim does not affect the terms of any product's existing manufacturer's warranty in any way, nor does getting repairs under a manufacturer's warranty affect 2-Year Free Warranty. Is that cool, or what?
2-Year Free Warranty only applies to electric guitars, electric bass guitars, acoustic guitars, and acoustic bass guitars. 2-Year Free Warranty is available for items purchased after 12/01/2013.
2-Year Free Warranty does not indemnify customers for loss of income when a piece of equipment fails and/or occurs during the time the equipment has been sent to us for repair.
We reserve the right to accept or reject any product presented to us for warranty coverage when damage or playability is compromised due to conditions inconsistent with an items intended use. Similarly, we reserve the right to modify the conditions of this warranty at our discretion and without prior notice.
