And now, with its new Auto-Motion Vocal Pattern Generation, you can add a variety of intricate musical patterns to your track for an entirely new (and sonically dramatic) vocal effect.
PUNCH Evo combines light compression and tone shaping to help define your vocal tracks. PUNCH Evo has only three controls: input gain, impact, and output ceiling. Together, these controls let you enhance the presence of your vocal tracks within the mix without affecting the dynamic range.
DUO Evo Vocal Modeling Auto-Doubler automatically generates a doubled vocal part from an existing vocal. In addition to allowing programmable variation in pitch, timing and vibrato depth, for even more realism, DUO also includes a simplified version of THROAT's vocal modeling to provide timbral variation for the doubled part. DUO's output section gives you independent control of the level and stereo position of the original and doubled voices. The doubled signal emulates the primary vocal characteristics of the originally input vocal signal.

I Think for a lot of people this is the first 3rd party plugin they buy... really people it's not that complicated. I use cubase and got it figured out. this is the first ilok authorizing plugin Ive owned and I'm now really excited about all of the cool plugins Ive never been able to demo.
I record my voice through a rode nt1a and a scralet. I really like both of those but my pitch needs some help sometimes. I looked at the full autotune but I just needed something easy. efx gives me that.
The other plugin in the bundle get a lot of use too. but i'm most thrilled about owning autotune and that it came with an ilok in the box.

IDK why there is so much hate on this bundle. It is the best bang for your buck pitch correction out there.
Warm can add these buttery smooth qualities to your tracks and efx is just stupid easy to use.
I like that I can quickly get clean sounding pitch correction and move on. And for those that want the rap auto tune sound, efx can do that too.

First of all the documentation that comes with this thing is a joke. Thanks to the ilok the installation process is not very straightforward, and even once that is done you still aren't out of the woods. I spent a good couple of hours figuring out what I was supposed to do within Cubase to get these VSTs recognized. I got there in the end but a little more guidance from the "experts" would have helped a lot...
I mainly bought it for the autotune effect but after hearing the results I quickly gave that up. It sounds artificial and really hurts the sound overall.
Personally I'd say give this one a miss.

Personally I just don't like the sound I get from this. Artificial is the first word that comes to mind. Antares has been doing this long enough that this should be a better product. It works fine on my PT system and it's easy enough to use. It just doesn't sound good and hence I tend not to use it.

Make sure you look online for problems that could arise with your recording software before you buy it. It crashes my Cubase 5. If I save it to a music track, I am unable to open that track without crashing the program. Had to uninstall the program before I could get Cubase to work again. After investigating this online, I found this is not an unusual problem and Antares was not dealing with it. If you try to download a patch, your Ilok software will keep you from loading it. What a waste...
