16-channel studio or live sound personal monitor mixer with preset storage.
The Aviom A-16II Personal Mixer allows individual performers to create custom monitor mixes tailored to their individual needs. Designed for use in live performance or in the studio, the A-16II Personal Mixer is a 16-channel digital mixer which gives each performer completely independent control over channel volume, grouping, pan, and stereo spread, as well as master volume and tone. Every performer gets a completely customized monitor or cue mix. Each user can save and recall up to sixteen custom mixes as presets in their Personal Mixer.
The stereo output from the A-16II can be used to drive virtually any output device--from wired or wireless in-ears or headphones to powered floor wedges, an amplifier, or spot monitors.
Audio is taken from an existing console, using a combination of up to 16 direct outs, inserts, auxes, or groups. These sixteen channels are fed to a Pro16 Input Module, such as the AN-16/i, and are then distributed digitally to an unlimited number of Personal Mixers using Cat-5e cables. Set-up is simple and quick.
Personal Mixers can be daisy-chained or connected in parallel using an A-Net Distributor. Parallel connections also allow power to be supplied to the mixers over the Cat-5e cable (included). The A-16II can be mounted on a standard mic stand or music stand using the MT-1 and EB-1 mounting accessories.

These are amazing. They are really expensive, but how much is being able to get a decent monitor mix worth? Your sound crew will never be able to get your monitor mix exactly the way you want it, but you can with these. We've use these for the past couple of years and they're great - no problems at all.

I have owned 6 of these units for about 4 years even before Aviom got on the map. Unfortunately they have tripled in price ! I bought mine 4 years ago along with the 16 channel rack mounted input module. We have ran these for 4 years now at averaging over 200 shows a year at different locations & they have held up incredibly!, with the exception of a button popping off every now & then due to poor road crew packing. Once I find a perfect mix at a club or venue i save it. That way the next time I set up, I recall that number I saved it in, and... Waa Laa! ... A perfect mix !!! Also great if you have several different musicians setting in! You'll never regret these!!!

Being in control of everything you hear, priceless. We have several people that "swap" on instruments. With up to 16 profiles, you can set what you want to hear, and "recall" your setting when you play. Also great for different songs, sometimes you need to hear the piano the loudest, others it might be the guitar. With the touch of two buttons you there.

The Aviom A-16II Personal Mixer: This is a GREAT product! I use this system with our church band - 1 electric guitar, 2 acoustic guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, sax, trumpet, t-bone, electronic drum set, wind midi controller, congas & aux percussion, solo vocal mics, chior mics, director talkback mic for band only, talkback from sound booth, playback from sound booth... I can mix mono or stereo, mute what I don't want in my headset, and each Aviom mixes a personal sound for the "user". If you must, then use an Aviom to mix sound on stage - like for a chior - by plugging into a monitor and muting what is not needed.I can put an ipod between my Aviom and headset and record sessions for practice later or just hear what I played during a set. I have used Y adaptors to 2 headsets and worked a "usable mix" between 2 people, and have even stacked adaptors for 3 users on 1 Aviom. Best if used 1 to 1. Get rid of those stage monitors! This helps mix house sound with less problems of feedback, thereby giving a much clearer sound to the audience. I don't know how I ever played without my Aviom!!!!!!!
