I've used this for about 2 years for a house concert that seats 55. The Sub Out feature is wonderful. Plug in a powered sub and you and your artists will be amazed what this system can do, from really warming up an acoustic guitar to driving a full double bass. The reverb effects are terrific. Everybody who plays here loves this system. Rolling carry case is perfect if you are only rolling it from the hall closet to the living room otherwise it's crap. I do, and have many times, recommend this system.

I use mine regularly and often for Open Mics at mid sized clubs and outside shows at a Drive In restraunt. For solo/duo vocals plus any instument(s) this PA system delivers outstanding sound. Full Bands will push this little system a bit and mush up the sound. I don't use a Sub Woofer and the basic system has no significant bottom end but for acoustic guitars, piano and vocals it is outstanding. Even outside it is clear bright and loud at nearly 500 feet. If you need more than this keep looking.

The sound was impressive. I have done a few small jobs and no complaints on the equipment. Had to add a powered sub-woofer to get the full volume I wanted. Like the others have said the hardware on the case is junk. Handle and bottom legs have broken and fell off. This system could use more sound control (it has a tone knob) but for a small system it sounds good.

This product is an adequate 200W PA system, meaning the lows are unimpressive. An XLR output would be nice for applications that require more volume. I would not use this system for a space larger than a living room. What really has me scratching my head is why B-52 would put 80 pounds of gear in a case that can only handle 20 pounds! This is a very dangerous combination, especially when stairs are involved. A friend was moving the PA system down the stairs following a 2nd floor event, when the handle broke and the case went flying down the stairs. Fortunately there was nobody else using the stairs at the time. Imagine what would happen is a small child were to get hit by a runaway, 80 pound PA system? This product should be recalled! B-52 should considered themselves warned.

I have had this system less than 6 months, and the right speaker output is 10 times quieter than the left. I have tried everything, and nothing works. Either I am going to send it back to get repaired or just throw it out. This is not the first time that this has happened with B-52, but it is definitely the last time I buy any of their products.

The sound system is flawless. I love it and use it 3-4 times a week. The luggage bag however, is less than satisfactory. The first one I got had the entire wheel housing broken into 20+ pieces. I returned it and exchanged for a new one. The wheels are fine, but the handle popped out and It is near impossible to fix. Also, whoever designed the bag had a great idea that was poorly executed. You can wheel all the components in this bag, but moving it down/up stairs and into vehicles is a two person job due to the 80 lb. weight. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so bulky, or if there were four handles (one on each side.) I'm tossing my broken case and finding someone who can sew to make me individual dust covers for each component. Then, I'm buying a cart to move them all at once.

First off, this is a LOUD 200W stereo with great bass response. It is also amazingly small for its power... fits in the passenger seat of my car when not in the luggage bag. Best compact system for the money. I was skeptical at first since B-52 is a newer brand, but B-52 rocks!!!
