A professional 5-channel DJ mixer with advanced digital effects and dual auto BPM counters

The Behringer DJX750 DJ Mixer merges intuitive operation with built-in digital effects processing for 5-channels of clean, transparent sound to set your dance floor on fire! The DJX750 is a great DJ mixer when you need an analog DJ mixer for your dance club but dson't want to settle for some run-of-the-mill DJ desk you'll outgrow in just a few weeks?

Channels Galore
Because your voice is your instrument, the Behringer DJX750 DJ Mixer features a dedicated mic channel with all the tools to make your sound supremely distinctive. Vocal fine-tuning is handled by the onboard 3-band EQ, which provides up to 15 dB of boost or cut at LOW (80 Hz), MID (2.5 k), and HIGH (12 kHz) frequency centers -creating an extremely broad tonal palette. The Behringer DJX750's stereo channels' EQ utilize the same frequency centers with a boost of up to 12 dB and a cut of as much as -32dB. These channels are equipped to handle every conceivable input source -from line level, phono, CD and tape decks to mp3 and minidisk players, we've got you covered.

Auto Ducking
The Behringer DJX750 mixer's talkover function automatically detects your voice and brings down the volume of the music track (referred to as "ducking"), so your voice is always out front -you can even set this level to your own personal preference.

Auto BPM Counter
Sync'ing up tracks is an art unto itself -that's why we gave the Behringer DJX750 dual Auto BPM Counters. This cool feature helps take the guesswork out of making a smooth transition from one track to the next. Each BPM counter's digital display shows which channel it is tracking and the tempo of the music in beats per minute. Optionally, you can push the Beat Assist button in time with the song to manually enter the tempo. You get a read out of the tempo difference between the tracks, as well as a visual confirmation when they are in sync. These tools will help you seamlessly align two tracks -without having to rely solely on your ears.

Crossfader and Channel Faders
All of our super-smooth faders are of the high-grade 45-mm ULTRAGLIDE variety. Faders are, after all, the heart and soul of every mixer, and with their 500,000-cycle life expectancy (that's 275 fades per night, per fader for five years without a break!), they outperform standard faders more than twenty-to-one. And since the crossfader uses VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) technology, there is virtually no audio noise. For those of you who prefer customized crossfading, the DJX750 also includes our CF Curve control, which lets you set the crossfader's control characteristic just the way you like it. It is, after all, your show!

Making music larger than life is what it's all about and the Behringer DJX750 DJ Mixer comes through on this in a big way. XPQ 3D Surround widens the stereo field, giving it immense depth and creating a stereo image that is full of life, with amazingly transparent sound. You determine the intensity of this stunning effect with a simple twist of the Surround control -from barely noticeable to supremely spectacular.

Onboard Digital Effects
Really good digital effects add the finishing touch to a solid performance, and ours are really good! With 33 outstanding effects to choose from, including an assortment of Phase Shifters, Flangers, Reverbs, Delays and more, your audience won't know what hit them. There are even Auto Filter and Voice Changer effects that will take your show to a whole new level.

Not Just a Behringer DJX700 dressed in black!
DJs the world over love the DJX700 -and we are grateful that so many have made it their "go-to" mixer. So when we began design on the DJX750, we knew we had to do something very special. We started by revving up the FX processor and putting advanced parameter control right at your fingertips.

No longer are you confined to rigid presets that limit your creativity. With the Behringer DJX750 Mixer, you can change FX parameters on-the-fly, pushing your performance to the next level. In no time you'll be creating powerful sets with your own custom-tailored effects sounds, all of which can be controlled in real-time. Some parameters at your disposal include Bit Crusher depth, manual filter sweeps, Panning (LFO Rate), delay/echo time and much more. You can even set delay and echo timing relative to the internal BPM counter for extremely musical results. It is like a DJX700 -but one on steroids!

Monitor Multi-tasking
You can't put on much of a show if you can't hear what you're mixing! That's why we didn't cut any corners on DJX750's monitor section. When the monitor Mode switch is in the "Split" position, you hear the PFL (Pre-Fader Level) output on the left side of your phones, and the Master signal on your right. If you prefer working in "Stereo" mode, you can turn the MIX control fully counterclockwise to hear the channel PFL signal in both sides of your headphones, fully clockwise for the Master output, or you can "mix" both signals by adjusting the control to anywhere in-between. You can listen to one or multiple sources, and LEDs light up to indicate what you're listening to.

Sound Quality
None of the above-mentioned features would amount to much if the DJX750 didn't sound truly remarkable. That's why we equip each one with Behringer's tried-and-true ULN (Ultra Low-Noise) preamps: what comes in comes out, with nothing added. So you get maximum headroom, extremely low noise and ultra-transparent sound. Compare it to the competition for sound quality, features and value and you'll see why more and more DJs "own the night" with their BEHRINGER DJX750.

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer:

First off, I wrote the first review below... I came on here to buy a second board and remembered I had written that review. I'm a full-time DJ. Mobile, club, whatever... this is what I do for a living. I use Technic MK5's with Torq and a Macbook Pro. I spin mostly Top 40, R&B, Rap, Hip-Hop, etc... I'm a 'utility' DJ (meaning: I play what whoever's paying me wants). My gear HAS to be good because that's the only way my kids eat! Originally I had some fears with this mixer (mainly because of the name), but over the last year and literally 100's of events and countless hours later, this board continues to impress me if not for anything else - its simplicity. I can't get past the simple layout of this board. This is THE board to have as a 'standard' board due to its ease of use factor.Features: Its features are so basic... There is nothing fancy about this board. Just a good, solid mixer that performs night after night after night. I don't use the effects or the bpm counters... However, I do like the EQ parameters where I can EQ out a little of this or a little of that. To me, most mixers have a really steep slope for EQ roll-off where this mixer does not. Very smooth EQ section, and with the kill switches who needs a steep roll-off?Quality: I was (and still am sometimes) worried about the jacks breaking. I use all Monster cabling and if you know the brand, you know that their tips are slightly larger and cups slightly tighter. I usually worry about the master out rca plugs every time I unplug, but they're still noise free.Value: I'm probably going to buy two now that the price is so low!Overall: This should be the #1 recommended board for anyone getting into DJing. Forget the big brands...The BAD: 1. Master volume fader lock. ALL DJ mixers (not just this one) should have a master volume fader lock on them. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be jamming during a set, slip my hand the wrong way, and blast the volume to max... Talk about embarrassing! Even something as simple as a screw-down piece on top of the master slider. Or make the master volume into a knob...? 2. XLR master out jacks. Enough said. (If Behringer would put the master output section of their higher priced DJ mixer onto this board I think I would never look elsewhere.)3. Microphone volume knob. There is a gain knob, but I find it ridiculously over-powered. I can't even get the knob past about 1/4 turn. 4. The user manual. The manual sucks... How do you use the effects? I don't know... haven't figured it out yet because the instructions on how to use them are uninformative. 5. Effects section. While I have no idea how the actual effects sound (see #4), I can say that whoever designed the effects section didn't collaborate with the person who designed the board. Every other thing about this mixer is straight and to the point...The GOOD:1. Top-side microphone XLR. (Why would you want the mic jack on the back?)2. Microphone ducking knob. This is another feature that EVERY mixer should have. Kudos to Behringer for including it.3. Crossfader. I'll still take this crossfader over a Pioneer any day. To me, the Pioneer crossfaders seem to not stop when you hit them... almost too buttery. On this board though, I feel like the crossfader goes where I want it. Maybe this could change with time and style, but for right now I prefer this fader over Pioneer. It's not a sticky fader by any means. It's smooth without feeling loose. 4. Style. Some might disagree with me, but I really like the style of this board. There aren't a bunch of multi-colored lights to impress people and I appreciate that about this mixer. Bottom line: I would recommend this mixer to anyone. New and old alike. This mixer has everything you need and nothing you don't. I prefer organic mixing over layering and this mixer fits me perfectly. Unless you are mixing a multi-layered, effect driven genre get this mixer!

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer:

So I got this mixer to replace my old Numark m4 mixer. At first it looked real nice and worked like a dream. Now it;s been less than a year and Im having multiple problems with it. Not durable... The faders starting to bleed and one time ch4 just didnt want 2 work. simply no sound came out of ch4. The FX select/Parameter knob is barely working now, i cant even use the fx in my mix anymore because it;s hard to control them now.overall this mixer is like a toy that looks very nice. other than that it really sucks, if it was a better quality product Iwould give it a better rating. Dont waste your money because it will let you down at some point!

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer:

This mixer is a good fit for most 12" mixer/turntable cases. So far it's performed well but seems to run very hot, though i've yet to see a mixer of any decent caliber not radiate heat. My biggest gripe is the BPM counters and their erratic functionality. When they work properly, they for the most part keep locked within a 1-2BPM range. When they don't, which seems to be much of the time, they race up to their maximum of 160 and either stick there or drop off altogether. Even more irritating is the fact the LED that blinks with the tempo wants to go above 160 but the counter won't. The sync lock/tempo difference/time offset functionality really suffers when it can't even lock properly (and will only work if you enable sync lock which never really locks the tempo). However, any dj worth their salt will only use it for rough reference and will likely not even need such functionality.
The effects tend to affect the various channels levels in a not very subtle way when you're trying to do certain things, and will even allow a channel you're setting an effect up for to go to mains even if it's not faded in.
Whether it's my mic or not, the ducking feature only triggers whenever it hits a plosive, and never for long, otherwise with the gain of the mic WAY down it overpowers everything else.
Overall, a decent mixer when the listed faults aren't rearing their head.

    Great Mixer

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer:

First off, I am NOT a Behringer guy. Or Nady. However... I purchased this mixer without reading any reviews or even knowing anything about it. My vehicle was stolen and I was in a pinch to get a mixer for an event the next day. I had a budget and needed to get the 'maximum' I could for my money... I was fairly impressed with the controls and such on the mixer. The crossfader especially. It seems that most 'budget' mixers have faders that drag too much. Definitely not the case with this mixer. I would say that alone sealed the deal for me to take the plunge into Behringer. I haven't messed around with the effects and such yet, but my first impressions (after half a dozen events) are good and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this mixer to anyone on a budget. Good bang for the buck. I marked down in quality because the headphone jack looks and feels super cheap... Once I get a nice mixer again this one will definitely be my #1 backup (or practice mixer at home!).

Great Budget Mixer - Not proffesional Grade

    By TONY spinning G

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer:

I bought this because I needed a mixer with at least 4 channels and a booth output quick and didn't have the budget for a last minute gig. Here's a breakdown on the basics:- Cross fader: is smooth and works fine.- Volume faders: volume increases smoothly until you get 3/4 of the way up - then it gets significantly higher all of a sudden. It's especially annoying to me because I mix with the volume faders instead of the crossfader.- No balanced outputs. RCA only- Turning down the EQ's does not kill the sound completely. Not a big deal because what you CAN hear is really faint. - BPM counters: they seem to work fine. I don't use them but tried to pay some attention to it since I knew I'd be writing a review. They typically read the same thing my CD players read. - EFFECTS: when I went through a few of them they worked fine.- OVER-ALL VOLUME IS REALLY LOW. This was the worst part for me personally. I HAD to connect it to an EQ to get more volume out of it and I felt like my smaller 2 channel Denon X100 kicked out way more power. Luckily the venue I used it in was a medium to small space so it worked out ok plugging the mixer to an EQ and plugging my Mackie 450's to the EQ.It's a nice mid-grade mixer. I would recommend it to the bedroom dj or someone on a budget. I would not recommend it for medium to large venues unless your sure you have enough power to compensate through separate EQ's and/or amps. Definitely worth the price I paid. I may keep it as a mixer to use at home or a backup.
