Amazing, but only one problem

I have had 3 of these, and so far 3 of them have blown. They are amazing speakers for VOCALS and VOCALS ONLY. I used these in a set up for a while for a guitar amp and bass amp, yeah not a good idea. If you just want it for vocals or for monitors, go for it!!!

Great Value and Sound

I picked up a pair of these to use in small venues as a karaoke/dj show. They are LIGHT and built well. The sound was awesome for a 12" full range speaker. What makes these speakers all the better is the price. I also own a pair of Peavey PR12 and they are a little heavier and bigger. The Behringers are a great sounding 12" speaker. Just as good as anyting out their for twice as much cost.

More Bang for Your Buck

By DrumGOD-AdgRG

This is truly the best investment that I made in a long time. Right out of the box the speakers pounded. I own EAW, JBL SR's and Peavey's and these speakers hold their own. I really like the hook up's (2 speakons & 2 1/4"). The only problem that I have is when you lay them down as a monitor, the speaker chord touches the ground and the chord may wear out.

Hmm...I wouldn't take the risk

I bought these cabs a couple months ago. I originally used them to play my CDs through and sing some Vox. I finally got a band together and we were practicing the first time when one of the horns blew. We were only putting Vox through them at 250w per side (they are rated at 500w per cab). I'm going to call Behringer this week to try and get the horn replaced. I'll probably trade them in for something that can hold up. In addition, they don't have much clarity, especially with bass tones.

Pretty Awesome

from Dutchess, NY

I got 2 a few months ago when thye first came out. They sound great, handle good amt of power, and they're super light to carry around. Mine have already seen a good amount of road wear and they're holding up nicely. Work great as floor monitors and/or mains.

Excellent Mediocity

By Needing More Punch

from St Cloud, MN

I bought a pair of these to use as mains for small venues. Just about everything I've ever laid hands on from behringer has been top notch for the money.Unforntunatly, these don't quite measure up in my book. They would be great in combo with some nice 18" subs, but they have no punch what so ever, though they have plenty of sustained low end. If you're looking for something for mostly just vocals, or for floor monitor - great stuff. If you're looking for a really kicking set of mains, spend a little more on some Yamahas.

Speaker abuser.

These speakers are light and really compact, they seem to bounce when accidently dropped!Set up your EQ correctly and whether its disco or solo musician vocals/guitar, they are pretty good. I got 2 to replace my old "very heavy" Peavy 15 inchers, I'm pretty well chuffed with'm, will go for 2 more to load my amp for its 2ohm 1000 watt output for my MP3 disco gigs!
