EuroLive B315D 2-Way Active PA Speaker Cabinet

The most common application for the Behringer B315D is probably as a powered PA cabinet that takes output from a mixing console. It can accept a 1/4" cable, or an XLR cable, depending on whether you preserve a balanced line from your mixer. It packs a significant wallop at 550 watts of class D power, and is plenty to handle sound reinforcement requirements of small to medium-sized venues.

It features a powerful 15'' long-excursion driver that provides incredibly deep bass and acoustic power as well as a 1.75'' titanium diaphragm compression driver for exceptional high-frequency reproduction. This full range system is exceptionally clear and loud, and is ideal for amplifying vocals, miked electric instruments, acoustic guitar, keyboards and other signals.

It is very lightweight and does an excellent job of covering broad areas due to its ultra-wide dispersion, large-format exponential horn. If you are looking for a very portable system and you don't require stereo, a single B315D is plenty to handle a gig of that nature. Say you are a BINGO caller, an auctioneer, or a business presenter at a convention hall, the B315D has a viable mixer front end that will allow you to get proper attenuation from a wired microphone along with a dedicated two band equalizer to adjust to the characteristics of the room.

A versatile trapezoidal enclosure design allows different positioning and as such, different applications for the enclosure. Say, for instance, you have a really nice sound system and the B315D is available as a stage monitor. It tilts on its side and angles up perfectly for use as a floor monitor. Or, if you have a subwoofer that is equipped with a pole mount, or you have a pair of speaker stands, the B315D is available for stand mounting with 35-mm pole socket.
