This is a good unit. However, I have had some issues with it. It does it's job, but I've had parts break on it before. I've had to send it in twice. The first time, the unit was replaced, no questions asked. The second, I had to send it in to get it fixed, in which case Behringer support didn't really seem to rush to get it back to me. I sent it in in September and got it back in December. Good for use in small to mid-sized rooms. Pair it with another sub and it's all the bass you'll need on any given night. It's a good value, you just kind-of have to hope that nothing breaks on it. I still would recommend this, but not for anything outside of mobile DJing.

I have used the Behringer 1520 full range speakers for several years(have 3 sets) and own 2 Behringer mixers and loved them so when I was in the market for subs I thought why not plus they are a great bargain and cash is short...WRONG! They actually do sound good but they do not last! Bought two in Jan. had 3 failures in 6 weeks...and before you think I'm a dumb kid blowing speakers because I hooked them wrong forget it... I'm almost 50 have 30 years experience with sound equipment and doing live sound ...I use an external crossover so I bypassed the internal crossover as directed in the manual and trust me I ran them at specs and falure,failure,failure...never got more than 2 nights of use with both speakers working.....The only thing good that came from this purchase was that I found out just how great MF Customer Service really is and They are THE BEST!!!

This item has worked for my systems for three years. One finally got beat up enough during a bar fight. Time to replace this particular one.

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:

I had purchased 1 of these about 2 1/2 yrs ago.Really performed well.Last May I bought a 2nd one.The woofer locked up after 5th show.It took a month to find out where I could get an RA from Behringer. Then I shipped the driver only(which cost me a small fortune. Then Behringer calls and says I need to send the enclosure to get warranty. What the heck.I'm a 30 electronics technician and 25 yrs in the audio business. I'm trying to save ME and them money.I have placed a Pyle driver in the box so I can use it somewhat.I will never buy or use another Behringer product again(unfortunately I just purchased a lot of product for a school near by me). Please buy JBL,Crown,Electro-Voice,or Cerwin Vega. You will be much more satisfied if you have a problem.

The speaker sound good for price, but cross is not good. If you have a ext crossover, then they sound great. They are used with my band and sound good. Instruction manual is very badly done, as all of behringer manuals are.

        EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer

        By Richard Rivas

        from Redlands, Calif.

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:

I just got this speaker, bought one only to try it out, and so far this speaker pumps out solid, tight bass with no distortion. I have it hooked up with a BBE sonic maximizer crossover. I have an 800 watt Crown powering two JBL JRX 115's that are wired for mid's and high's and then I have a 1,200 watt Samson powering my new Behringer B1800X Sub for the low's, and WOW! what a difference! I will be purchasing a Behringer "Nuke" 2500 Amp to push this baby as I like the fact that the amp only weighs like 9 lbs. But anyway, I've only done one gig with this and so far I am very pleased. The constuction is very solid and it looks good. I will be updating my review as I get more gigs under my belt with it. Great Job Behringer!

B1800x is a true sub cab

        By Anonymous

        from Undisclosed

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:

With all the more expensive name brands out there, I always assumed the more I spent, the better it was going to be. Well, that still may be true in some aspects, but I am sold on this sub from Behringer.I'm running a QSC mx2000a bridged (1300 watts RMS) with a Berhringer FBQ1502 eq with built in crossover and Behringer B212A speakers for tops, an Aphex 204 and a compressor.I felt a tear run down my cheek when I tuned everything and cranked it up. No...but seriously, this sub really puts out serious bass for such a small price and cabinet. ( like to feel it as well as hear it) It wasn't as heavy as I thought, but still very heavy. Naturally, you need some power behind it or you will distort and burn up the 4" voice coil. The cabinet is as solid as they come, the grill looks cool, but could have been a little thicker gauge metal. The lows are punchy, but can be boomy for the hip hop music. I recommend a commpressor if your going to run it all the way up all night, it will absorb the power robbing peaks and spikes without losing your bass tone. And a NL4FC Speakon end is needed if you DON'T want to use the internal crossover.Over all, a great buy, great warm lows that sound good at 1 watt or 500.4.5 for needed speakon connector.Sound is a strong 4.5Keep up the good work Behringer!!

        Killer Bass

        By Ben Scott

        from Vernal, UT

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE Professional B1800X Pro Subwoofer:

These subs require a lot of power. The reason you probably blew these is because you sent 2,000 watts to them. They peak at 1600. Im surprised they lasted the first gig. These are great as long as you dont expect more than they can put out. Remember that to double your bass output, you need 10times the power. I use them with a PV2600. Great for the price. I am getting 2 more.
