Buy this mixer if you have never mixed before it could be a great starter, but if you have an ear for mixing go with something built more for high-quality and higher price range. Also try out some mixers before you buy one on the internet because it had a low-price.
For the price there are many inputs and there are eq's and effects," but my only concern is the loud hum that the mixer does have. It is designed to be ""low-Noise"" but its pretty loud", also the main outs are pretty crappy meaning I have to twist the input jacks sometimes because the signal falters often and twisting the jacks keys the signal back in, maybe the inputs are loose.
The build of the mixer is solid, looks like it could take a beating, but for what's its worth my unit only sits at home. The power chord is a bit weak with a three prong set-up and can be hard to plug in without picking up the mixer looking on the back to plug it in. Once the mixer is plugged in, I am pretty sure the hum of this mixer will be instantly heard.
for a little more you could find some other brand that would probably out perform this tiny mixer, but for the price, you get what you pay for.
It has worked thus far, but in the future I will upgrade to a more expensive model, after buying much more expensive equipment. It would be a shame if their sweet sounds get drowned out in the mix because of humming. This is why it's important to upgrade, you can't drive around a Benz on a spare-donut tire forever.
Finally, this is a great mixer if you are beginning, if you are an audiophile or producer I'm sure you would already know there are better analog and digital options available. Albeit, they may be more expensive, but in the end you get what you pay for.

If you plan on play with this mixer live hooked up to a PA and Power Amp. It will overheat and the mic will constantly cut out after about 45 minutes. I was very disappointed after playing a live show with this and the mic cut out all the time! Do not buy this for live. Also the Right 1/4" on the Main out dosent work anymore either. When you buy a mixer. Behringer may have half the price. But also half the quality of other brands. I say save some more money and get a Mackie or Yamaha. You will be happier in the long run.

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
Set it right next to my drums! Works excellent if you either want control over your in-ears, plug your drums in it if there's no snake, or just some simple recording. The control knobs are a little tight at first but loosen up after twisting them multiple times, which you'll probably do since it's a mixer. It's everything I would expect Behringer to produce!

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
I ues this to consolidate the different keyboards and synths for "what if" scenarios and sometimes for the real deal. It's quiet and has a small footprint. Easy to operate.

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
I bought this mixer to mic me and my band and i will tell u it works greeat even by just hooking it through the microphone in. NO AUDIO INTERFACE NEEDED!!. It does get a little hot though so i would unplug after 3 hours or soo but overall its one of the best portable mixers i have owned.
Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
Lets face it, if you are buying this mixer, you are buying it because of the value, and a value it is. I wish it had XLR outs for the mains instead of 1/4 inch, but thats not a big deal. The light being bright is not a big deal. The lack of an on/off switch is not a big deal. My main complaint is that the port where it plugs in is AWEFUL. It doesnt actually plug in to the unit, it sort of sits in place. I will have to do something about it. Yes, it also gets hot, but the manual said it would. The phantom power is nice, and again, the value is the reason to buy it. For an entry level portable mixer, this is perfect. For the price, this is not a huge risk
Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
This is a great mixer for the money you pay, and I think tops quality of many other more expensive mixers. I use it for small gigs to run vocals through, and it always amazes me how crisp the quality is.
Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
I first got this so i can eq my drums while i play. 4 xlrs for 4 drums. and i just plug in the over head mic with a 1/4 adapter in line 4/5 that way it i can control the balance.in my other band i use this to plug in all four of our mics - for vocals. we use the FX send for our floor monitors. line 5 for lead guitar, line 7 for the rythem guitar, 9 for the bass, and line 11 for the piano. i just use the line out on the back of each of the guitars amps. As you can tell i can mix everything besides the drums. now the bad. everyone knows the lights get super bright even warm to the touch. It would be great if there was a left and right main mix. it would be great if this offered reverb or other effects, but i think theres another model that does. and lastly the power adapter prongs and bound to break.
Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
Had this item for over 4 years. Used in the studio and at gigs. Our band uses it to simplify vocals into the board. Good pre-amps on the mic channels and gives us a couple of extra inputs to the mix (in case friends show up to jam). The "Light" ?.... really, if it is too bright for you, paint it over with nail polish. The power supply is fine... you just need to pay attention. If you break the connector just get a cord-lock at the hardware store and hard-wire it. Great little mixer... Quiet and does it's job.
Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer:
The power supply is the worst. The prongs in the power connector are the flimsiest I've seen. After two years of wear and tear at some pretty vicious shows they finally gave way -- and it will cost $50 to replace. The mixer is built extremely well, minimal hum and great preamps. Effects on the mic channels are great and the gain can be cranked for some sick distortion. My mixer is still alive but the power supply didn't make it.That's really the only thing you have to worry about if your mixer is going to go through hell and back. Careful with the power supply!
