Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

First let me say, that a couple years ago you wouldn't have caught near Behringer. Now my whole rig is Behringer and for good reason. This stuff is just out of this world. I blow away my other guitarist who uses a Marshall Tube head, and sometimes he even uses a Peavey 5150! I get way better tone. Now I just received this unit in the mail yesterday, plugged it in today. I can't even start to explain my amazement! This unit is great. It made my sound so much tighter. It has more options than I know what to do with. Behringer just keeps blowing my mind. Buy this product!

Very practical and inexpensive

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

I have never come across anything that does so much for a signal for so little money. Putting this in my vocal, guitar, and snare chains made EQing and mixing several times more efficient, due to the extra harmonics it adds to given tracks. But being Behringer gear it has its quirks. You'll find that it is a little bit noisier than higher-end toys. Its ability to brighen really comes into play with instruments and sources with a lot of harmonics in the 300hz-5khz range. Items with a lot of harmonics at 3khz+ tend to make things really bad. It's a lot gentler than some of the tube drivers I've played with and so that can help with vocals that you want to brighten w/o messing with the character. If you're into rock it might not make the snare beef up as much as a more aggressive tube-drive compressor or distressor, but for the price you're getting a helluva lot.It isn't a panacea, but if you're a beginner in the industry this processor may save you some work in post and provide an edge. With this on the input, my plugin counts dropped dramatically; it really is a step toward "getting it sounding good on its way into the board".

At this price every system should have one.

Ask me a question

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

I bought two of these last year. One I used on my live system. It was great, and as everyone else mentions, it is so easy to understand that you can just add it it to your system turn it on and with a few sutble adjustments you are good to go. When I A/B my system with and without, it makes a huge difference. My Mackie mixer never sounded so alive. The second unit sat in the box until this past week end. I had to make a copy of some 20+ year old live tapes of an band I was in for friend. Although I was working with some fairly high quality reel to reel live tapes I decided to us the Ultrafex to see if it could "brighten" them up. WOW!!! What an improvement. This unit made my old reel to reel tapes sparkle and I was able to increase the bass guitar and kick drum without any additional mud or "boominess". I immediately installed this unit in my home recording rack. Great product.

Changed my PA rig!

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

This device pretty much altered the sound of my system to now add all those small qualities that were previously missing. The bass-enhancer accentuates those lower frequencies up perfectly, so as to warm the sound up without creating unwanted 'booming'. It has to be used subtley, but if you start at low settings and experiment going slowly higher, then you'll eventually get that desired tone. I love the sound processor too, and it makes stereo playback recordings sound amazing, especially when you PA speaker towers have a good distance spaced between them. Also sounds tremendous when panning instruments like drum toms. Makes a drum roll feel like it'stretching out to the audience rather than just moving across in a linear motion. This is a brilliant peice of equipment at such an affordable cost. It won't solve all major sound problems, but when you've got your tone balance 95% there, then this device can get you that other 5% that was missing. But please do use subtley. As everyone else has said, you should only be able to recognise it's usefullness once it has been switched off. Don't over process or you'll lose your natural sound ambience.

Great Buy

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

It's not very often you get a piece of gear at this price that puts a smile on your face. Especially good for recorded music or vocals. The ultra bass enhancer is a great feature.Don't overuse. The trick is to use just enough so as to not over-enhance or color the sound. You shouldn't know it's running until you turn it off and then go "Wow, something's terribly missing".

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

This is the second best behringer item I own. This is for someone wants to add more "bass" or "presents". Makes music sound full of life. Very easy to operate.

Sound is way better

Comments about Behringer EX3200 Ultrafex Pro:

To start off, its easy to use, I didnt even read the manual and I figured out every function and how to use it properly in about 10 minutes. I plugged my guitar into this, and plugged this product into one of my mixers, and tested it with and without it. The sound is so much better when using this, there is a huge difference, buy it its worth it!
