Don't buy it!

I would not recommend this interface. Better off with IK Multimedia Stealth Plug instead!.
I was trying to use this with Amplitube Metal and #3, but found out that it doesn't work properly with either software. There is too much noise in the background and latency is a major problem. The output of the guitar does not match with the same time as I pluck the strings. I tried different hertz settings but none of them seems to solve the problem.
I hate this thing!!
Well housed and compact, but it does nothing for me if the product does not work properly!!
What am I getting out of something that doesn't work properly??

This lightweight little interface is great fun, and isn't that what it's really all about! Hard to beat value in this price range. Great, light, "Native Instuments Modeling Amp Software" included that could be used for small gigs. You get an "AC Box" combo amp for free and 2 more (Twang, and Plexi Combo)'s to try and buy if you like them. I was skeptical, now I can't put my guitar down, and I record more than ever because it's sooo easy to do with the built in tape-deck feature. If you like playing with sounds and settings, your in for some long nights. Put down the AX and go to bed...: )

Works great with ALL O.S.'s Don't mind the haters who would bash a banana because they couldn't figure out how to peel it. This is a wonderful device at a great price. Amp modeling and effects without buying all the equipment.

I have windows 7 you will have to jump through hoops to get this setup with 7. go to there website to download apps, drivers. took me awhile to get it right. knowing what i know now I would try something else.

This device works like a charm. Use this mainly to record guitar parts in my home studio. I use this with Guitar Rig and it was so easy to setup. This will work with other instruments as well. Great Buy!

good idea on paper, completely worthless in reality. Software would not install, after a week of attempting to contact Behringer customer service with no success, I just gave up. Was told it was compatible with Windows 8, never could install. I have previous experience installing sound cards and video cards, I thought a simple USB plug in would be a piece of cake, I was wrong. This is going in the garbage(lesson learned) will be purchasing a real USB/audio interface from a reputable company.

I'm sorry to hear some are having problems. Basing a negative review on that, however, doesn't do anyone much good. I've tried this interface on several computers, several operating systems, etc., and it sets up just fine if you do it right. If its not working for you, have someone walk you through it. You don't need Berringer customer support. Any computer geek with a short sleeve dress shirt and a pencil in his ear will do. This thing is what it is, and does what it does very acceptably.

Installation is not straight off the CD. With System 7 it requires more effort to sort through Drivers. After two days of noodling it does not input sound from the guitar into the program. The program is up a running but the interface to the computer from the guitar is not.
There is hope with my old IMac so I don't want to give up so easily. Maybe it's programing is more suited for it? This still could be something great.

I bought this several months ago out of necessity of recording. For the price it does its job very well. Plug it in and my Mac immediately recognizes it as an audio device. While it does offer Amp models for plugging a guitar in directly to your computer, I've found that nothing quite compares to using an amplifier and a mic. I feed the mic into a mixer, and the mixer into this handy little thing. It's a very straight forward device and I highly recommend it.

I'm new to using my pc for music production, and while there is a learning curve, this product will get you up and running for a nice price.I wouldn't use this over an actual studio for real recording,but for pre-production or practice it's perfect.
