Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
Behringer's done it again. I know some people are skeptical when it comes to Behringer, I have had a couple of Behringer products go "Belly up" over the years. But I think Behringer has something in the new Inuke line of amplifiers. I bought the Inuke1000 on a whim as it was on sale. I replaced an old QSC powerlite 1400 that died after almost 30yrs of service. Knowing it was only rated at 150 watts at 8 ohms per side, I figured I could use it for small Karaoke parties and light DJ work. Took it out and played a small Gym and it performed flawlessly. then I had a small gig with my band and didn't want to haul huge racks of gear when not miking instruments, so I grabbed my small mixer and the Inuke1000 and ran mains out of one side and monitors on the other. I had a 4 ohm load on one side and a 2 ohm load on the other and the thing worked like a charm. It was still cool to the touch after 4 hours. I am quite happy with my purchase. I did break the amp in before taking it out on the gig by running it for a couple of hours at home to make sure there would be no surprises. I think behringer has stepped up it's quality control inspections as this is the 2nd piece I have bought and it performs as stated. It's easy to use, totally flexible for running mismatched loads and doesn't get hot. It does however, have more bass response than some of the more expensive brands, but a behringer dual 15 band EQ took care of that. Overall a very good product from Behringer. it's a great piece of gear when you are on a small budget. Time will tell if it stands up to the riggers of the road, but as long as it's racked, I don't forsee any problems with it.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
Th iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp is a very user friendly and powerful amp. Our band uses this amp right now for practice and it rocks the basement! The first one we bought did not work out of the box. Musician's Friend corrected that problem fast and with friendly service! The new one arrived in about a week or just a little bit longer. I am very pleased with everything!
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
Over all, a very pleasant suprize!
This is not some economy, low-end or make-do kinda amp. Yes, it's cheaply priced, yes it's light, but Behringer is Behringer and their technology speaks for itself. I bought this amp with some skepticism because of those factors, but I put my trust in the name because I've used Behringer products a lot over the years...I was not disappointed. Paired with Behringer Eurolive VS1520 speakers, I thought I was hallucinating when I turned on my system and cranked out the first mix of the night. With eyes closed and no knowlege of what equipment I was running, one would assume that I was using a much more costly set up. I had perfect seperation of tone, power enough to rattle glasses and puncture eardrums, and a TON of compliments on the sound. Obviously Behringer has put their people to work on creating system components that are high quality, lightweight and affordable, and I for one, can't thank them enough. Replacing the 62lb version of an amp I had in the rack before with one that weighs less than 7lbs, means no more back wrenching totes of the rack case from vehicle to stage. (AND my speakers weigh nearly as little as the 12 inch Peaveys I was using for smaller venues, too.) Behringer hit a home run with this season's line up of DJ friendly equipment, and I'm fortunate enough to enjoy it. You shouldn't hesitate to get their new stuff, it's all that and a basket of fries.
Lightweight construction does not mean compromised quality with this series of amp.
Good luck finding a better bang for your buck!
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
This is one interesting amp! First I have to admit when compared with QSC GX7 sound quality was not there. Did not have the low end or warmth of the QSC but that's a $600 amp! Easy set up, amp got loud! I used the mono bridged 4 ohm 1000 watt setting to power 2 Celestion sr3's. During gig the rack the amp was in fell off the stage and hit the deck! About a 5 ft drop. It never missed a beat. VERY impressive! All in all if your looking for cheap light weight power this amp rocks but does not sound as good as a QSC.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
Go buy one. Run monitors, small mains and subs, pair of 15's. It will do the job. There's no sense in buying a 5000 watt power amp for speakers rated at 500 watts; you're just gonna push the amp past your speakers capabilities. Get the right amp for your speakers, this one.
Super impressed with this thing. Unbelievably light weight-shocking actually how light. Powers a set of Yamaha BR12s and Harbinger subs perfectly. Portable sound rig for small to medium venues has no issues rattling the walls with this amp. The built in crossover is perfect.
Previous reviews are correct when they say "no limiter switch". The description mentions "flip the limiter switch". I contacted Behringer... yeah, the limiter is built in. If you peak the level long enough in duration, the limiter kicks in. Does not affect its features.
Bottom Line: GREAT Price, super light weight, powerful for medium rig; 250-500 watts. Running bridged mode will give you more power than you need to make someones ears bleed...
Had it for a month or so, havent got it in a rack case (that arrives next week) .
Taken it out to gig a few times and its been perfect. Quiet and light. Behringer sells products for the working musician/sound engineer. I wouldnt drop it off the roof, but whey would you be throwing your gear off the roof anyhow- take care of your equipment and it will take care of you.
I got a great price on this thing. Like I said, runs perfectly.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
Bought this to power monitors. I tried it on the mains and it sounded just as good as my EP1500. It runs cooler and is lighter than the other amps. Amazing where our technology has brought us. Light weight, powerful, quiet, and thanks to Behringer for keeping the PRICE down. I use a lot of Behringer gear. In my studio, on gigs and when doing live sound. Good job Behringer.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU1000 Power Amp:
I've had this for about a month now and it has worked very well. I've been just using it as an
amp for my monitors but I plan on getting another one for my mains at some point. It doesnt have a lot of features but it keeps things nice and simple...less bells and whistles, less that will fail in the middle of a show. I've heard some people worried about the plastic casing that it is made out of but I keep it in a rack and it keeps things nice and light. With my experiences so far I would highly recommend it.
