Pretty basic but look at the price!

Quality:

For this price if it breaks in a year I'll buy another one and still be happy!

Overall:

Ok, so it's not the loudest or best....look at the price it does what you expect splits into four seperate channels. Could possibly use a little more punch, but is excellent for home recording where you can control external noise sources.

Really Versatile, Plenty of Volume

| Review By: Bruce Barker | 4 months, 2 weeks ago

Features:

Four outputs and lots of gain.  As simple as that.

Quality:

Construction seems to be pretty solid.

Value:

Ridiculously inexpensive for what it does.

Overall:

Hard to expect anything that even works for this price... but this little box does the job.  For years our studio's main voice booth headphone feed was a Crown D-75 amp running through a Rolls PM52 Headphone Tap.  The newer Taps apparently use different internals that no longer allow enough gain to drive our old-style AKG K-240's.  So we switched to the little HA400 and it's got plenty of boost.  I haven't really put this box through much in the way of rigorous sound checks, but it certainly gets the signal where it needs to be, with plenty of volume.
