Xenyx 802 mixer
The Xenyx 802 has 8 inputs and a FX Send control for each channel. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The Xenyx Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps. C-1 Microphone
The Behringer C-1 is a super-affordable large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. It provides flat frequency response, low-noise transformerless FET input circuitry, and audio transparency.

Everything in this little bundle is GREAT for home recording. It works beautifully with Cakewalk Sonar ( I use 8 producer Edition) - the mic pre's along with the phantom power are CLEAN. I have recorded a few full songs on it (only had it less than a month) complete with guitar, bass, vocals and e-drums and it is great! I'm telling ya, I didn't expect much with this when I bought it...but MAN did I hit some gold here! if you're into laying down tracks, forget about podcasting n make some tunes.

I would like to start off by saying that the Behringer Podcastudio Bundle is perfect for mid-level PodCaster's. The kit is good, but the software could be better. I recommend using Streaming Audio Server software for Internet broadcast radio. Using both the hardware in this kit, and the server software, you can broadcast live shows over the Internet on any browser platform like a professional radio station and nobody will know the difference.

I'll start by saying this: If you use Vista (32/64) then DO NOT BUY this. The FCA202 interface will not work with either OS. They have links on their site to the beta drivers for Vista 32 but it just kicks you to the home page. I've tried to contact their support with no results as of yet. I have a backup XP system that I can use it on though. I'd expect them to release them at some point though... Keep checking.As far as quality and the like goes, it's a great package for the price. I am trying to figure out my issues with using Audition but I have managed to get some audio down and the quality is impressive enough and works fine for my purposes.You will see a lot of people saying you get what you pay for that and that's true. I'm not a pro-studio person. I'm a hobbyist and I'm ok with sounding, well, "ok"!

Ok. I would like to start by saying I am a Producer, Composer, I play the keyboard, sing, and record for other people and their projects.This kit comes with just about everything you need.The headphones are GREAT. They look dumb but sound excellent.The mic is ok, but I recommend an MXL 990 condenser.The mixer is BEAUTIFUL. You can use it as a multi-track recorder, preamp mixer, you have to have it for good monitors, !It comes with some software, but buy Goldwave form their site and get Adobe Audition, cause the ones that come with this are too complilated.Comes in nice box and all the cables. This is the kit to buy for anyone, and you'll save a ton.
