For the small price, this little unit beats the big-priced sound boards hands down.
You can spend 8 times the cost of this unit and get less sound quality (pops, crackles, drop-outs) like I did. I've used this little gem for Online Karaoke, Internet Streaming as well as recording analog recordings to a digital format.
I'm simply thrilled I took a chance on this product.
As a professional broadcast engineer with decades of experience, I highly suggest you pick one of these up and forget about the expensive soundcards.

Purchased this unit as a simple interface to record out writing sessions in the warehouse. Set up included a single mic into the mixer which sent the signal to the U-CONTROL UCA222 into my laptop. Works great with simple apps such as Media Player or Media Monkey as well as records great into Audacity, good sound. I pulled up Fruity Loops Studio 8.0 though to play a track and sounded like crap, lots of skips and pops...(Not my system I have it tweaked very well). This is a driver issue! Only comes with standard USB driver no ASIO support for this unit. Still I would recommend to a friend for a simple and very portable interface for listening to basic media tracks.

Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
Used it last time I DJ 'd at a wedding. I use two laptops with Creative Soundbl....rs to send Audio out the USB and into Mixer. The SoundBlaster has a surround sound dial. It has worked but I like this better. It is more straight forward and the sound is better. I am going to get a second one and sell the Soun....sters.
Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
This product is awesome. I bought two of these to use with Virtual DJ and set it up so that each deck goes to one of these - then I sent the headphone output of Virtual DJ to the built-in soundcard on my laptop. I tried these little boxes out on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 and in all cases, the unit was immediately recognized and installed. I didn't need any driver software whatsoever. The sound quality is great. I used these for a gig last Saturday and was perfect !! For the price, this is a great deal and I highly recommend it.

Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
Recording at home can be a daunting task as well as an expensive one. You quickly realized it's going to require a great deal of equipment, and it's not cheap. Patience is a virtue, but in this case we just wanted to hear some of our music. Rather than spend the big money on an 8 channel interface, I had the Incredible fortune of obtaining an old Carvin concert series 24 channel soundboard. It was analog, but it was free.
I purchased the Behringer UCA222 with moderate expectations and I am thoroughly impressed. For the price I couldn't imagine a better way to mic my entire band and have it record directly to the computer. The audacity software is pretty good, not as advanced as Komplete Guitar Rig, but fine for a low budget.
There is a slight bit of latency in the sound as it plays live through the monitor, and this is not a permanent solution to your home studio. However, I'm more than happy with what we've got here to "buy some time" while we save for a professional interface.

Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
I got this as an alternative to the headphones/line out jack on my laptop. Using this for backing track playing in live performances. It installed very easily on my Lenovo laptop running Windows 10. Didn't need to update drivers. The audio sounds very clear. The only thing I have to figure out is where is the best position for it. Its very light and I feel like it could get knocked off any surface I lay it on. I may apply some double-stick pad to it and apply it to the top of the desk next to my laptop. Since I've only been using it for a few minutes I can't speak to durability so I'm giving it 4 stars. Not to knock anything but I just don't know at this time how its going to hold up.
So far so good though. Appears to be exactly what I needed for a very good price and if it ends up lasting for a couple years then I feel like I got my money's worth and I'll just replace it with another.

Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
I purchased this in an effort to accommodate the digital optical input of my Audison Bit Ten D sound processor in my car. It is the only sound card/USB-optical convertor that provides native system wide USB digital audio out on my Samsung Galaxy S4. I have a Fiio X3ii that provides higher bit rates up to DSD quality but only works with a limited set of apps for the phone. For the car this product works best because with the compatibility, it is worth sacrificing the small ding in audio quality.

Comments about Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface:
Almost everything is right, except for the sound, that is not the best I have ever heard, but I'm blaming myself because I don't have high quality equipment, that is going to come later. I'm using the UCA222 to transfer vinyl records and tapes to digital, and I'm sure that quality is going to be there eventually.
Next time I'll have to buy anything that you might sell, I'll check with you first before I make a purchase.
Your service was fast and reliable.
Thank you.
