Great! Cheap!

Features:

Just as advertised: 31 bands, feedback indicators, limiting. Just what one would expect an EQ to have.

Quality:

Sound quality is excellent. Nice and transparent. In the two rigs I use it with there is no significant noise added by this unit.

I've marked down 3 points because faders themselves feel a bit flimsy, other than that I very happy with it. I've had other Behringer products and not had any problems with them. This one seems to be similar in materials and features.

Value:

I've found Behringer products to be reliabe and great products for the money. This unit is as well.

Overall:

I got this unit because I play in an acoustic/old-time/early country band. We like to use mics rather than pickups, which makes feedback a potential problem. Ring out the room/sound system with this unit and feedback is nearly non-existent.

My only criticism is that the faders on the individual bands could feel a bit more solid. Considering features vs. price, however, I'm willing to deal with that.

Tin Can With Lights

Features:

Well I went through all the reviews and decided to try this out. I spent 4 hours working with it and my conclusion is that for live sound especially drums this unit is worthless. It may work for your home stero but for real control of the HZ without a bunch of crossover between frequancies I would deffinitly not recommend this to anyone. I tested it on a drum set and set up a low frequancy feedback. I then tweeked all the Loz Hz sliders down and the feedback stayed no change. The feeback indicators showed nothing. I then used my Mackie board, CFX 16 and did the same thing and it worked fine getting rid of the feedback. All this thing seems to do is boost frequancies and very little to nothing to cut low frequancies. Not impressed my old 1980's  Peavey 31 works far better than this thing ever thought of doing. Do not waste you time or your money. I have been doing Sound and Live Gigs as a drummer for over 45 years and this thing is JUNK.

Quality:

Switches stick, Feedback indicator dosent show the frequancy feeding back. Crosstalk between frequancy very high.

Value:

Dose not do its intended purpose controling HZ

Overall:

Unit will not control HZ correctly. Features useless.

Dont get it!

Features:

For the price of this unit, there are some really good features, it seams, with an adjustable low cut and high cut filter, and also a low pass output on the rear. The low pass output however does not have a separate level control, and also the low cut filter also cuts the bass on the low pass output aswell, and also these features only seem to have a slope of 6dB/octave. The FBQ feature is more of an analyser than a feedback detector.

Quality:

This is one place where you can really tell it is a cheep graphic. The frequency faders feel cheep and 'dry', not smooth like all other graphics from difference manufactuers. You also have to be very carefull with it for your P.A. as i am finding the dBu readings to be very inaccurate. Also, the sound quality, amazing at lower volumes, but getting to higher volumes where and eq is needed the most, this eq seems to be sending out a dirty signal, even though the input is reading -8dB and -12dB output. There is major distortion, even if you turn the bass back. If i bypass the EQ there are no problems at all. So in my opinion, if you want to get a good sound at high volumes aswell as low volumes, this eq is useless.

Overall:

It might just be my luck, but both Behringer products i have owned really have not pleased me. Behringer make equipment that seems amazing at a low price, which behringer really show by the poor quality of their products. I will not be purchasing anything from behringer in a hurry

I used to think this eq was ok, but ever since I became accustomed to hearing better gear.  I realized that it wasn't as good as I'd thought it to be.  It's probably the noisiest piece of rack gear that I've ever heard.  A hobbyist will enjoy it, and a pro will tend to stay away.  If you're searching for clearer quality, then this unit is NOT for you. Even though a 31 band should have precision, I feel like this one sucks all the life out of the signal!

A Great EQ For Your Home Studio-Professional Results!

Features:

Features here are amazing. This is the 2nd Unit I've purchased for my Recordings. Never had any problems. The Low/High Cut Filters are terrific, and they do just what they are supposed to do. The 31 Bands enable precise cut/boost anywhere in the frequency spectrum. It may take someone who is new to high quality EQ's to get control of everything, but just follow the instructions, listen closely, and you will soon be making some improvements in your sound.

Quality:

All Faders and Knobs have smooth operation. Well constructed Unit.

Value:

    Absolutely amazing value!

There is no other Brand that I trust to use in my Home Recordings, not in this price range. For your hard earned money, you get more than your money's worth.

Overall:

Other Owners have had some complaints, and they may have recieved a faulty unit, but I have

NEVER had problems with any Behringer Product, and I own many.
