The XENYX 302USB is ideally suited for a small home studio or the on-the-go recording enthusiast. At approximately 4" long and 5" wide (117 x 135 mm), the XENYX 302USB respects your desk space, while providing an XLR & 1/4" combination socket, stereo USB/Line channel plus a dedicated 2-Track input.

Don’t let the XENYX 302USB’s diminutive size fool you—this little gem is loaded with features typically reserved for larger, more expensive mixers. For instance, we equipped the Mic input with our XENYX mic preamp, which is legendary for its sonic clarity and high-headroom performance. Behringer also gave the Mic and Line/USB channels our 2-band British-style EQs (Low and High), and provide a 2-Track input that can be assigned to either the Main Mix or Phones.
You can even power the XENYX 302USB from your computer’s USB port, which is great for capturing the sounds of migratory birds in flight, or for posting your podcast straight to the Web. I Love this thing. After years of demoing and recording material I have collected quite a bit of stuff, but this thing is awesome. I will probably buy a couple more. Fits very easily on my gear laden desktop because of its size. I have heard people talk of issues with humming and buzzing but I suspect that is a PC issue or something cause mine is fine. I have not got to use this to its potential yet but so far so amazing. I hear people say bad things about behringer but I own a couple pieces from them and I have been extremely satisfied every time. This especially, just plug it in set your DAW to recognize and there you go. I was able to use it 5 min after the unboxing. For me it took over my audio on the PC but thats not a bad thing when the mixer is plugged in all sound goes through the mixer. Unplugged it goes through the PC speakers. Thats awesome cause I spend alot of time on youtube and to have it ported through a mixer is something i didnt even know i wanted lol. This mixer is beneficial for making good guitar tutorial videos for youtube. BUY THIS if your looking for an easy inexpensive audio interface. It is a tiny MONSTER! For the money this is the best deal. The only thing better would be to have efx built in but for a little more money you could get that from behringer too.
This is ideal for amatuer recording and demoing at home, pod casting, making youtube videos. Nice metal chasis seems like it will last for years. Just get this if your trying to decide its worth the money.

This little guy does exactly what I needed it for, volume control for a CD player into my Bose L1 compact for mixing pre-recorded tracks with my live vocals and guitar. Got it cheap, fast and so far, so good.
