These are really great headphones that have extreme handling capabilities needed by "Live" performing/recording drummers when all others fail. They're the only ones that I will use from now on, no matter what.. I love cranking these headphones!!! They deliver precise accurate pro quality sound better than anything else.

I just got these in the mail the other day, and am so far pretty impressed. First off, the isolation with these cans are amazing; perfect for drummers. They isolate well enough so you can easily follow along a click track, backing track, etc., but they're not overbearing so much that you can't hear the tone of your kit as well. The easy to reach volume control is also a nice perk, and is perfect for live situations. These headphones are very light, comfortable, and are well made with quality materials. The sound quality on these won't amaze all the audiophiles out there, but it is a good balance of sound in my opinion. There's a decent amount of bass and mids, while the highs seem a bit recessed, but not much. Overall they seem to have a fairly flat eq, which isn't a bad thing by any means, as it makes for an accurate response and gives these headphones the added ability to mix; I just mixed an 7 channel drum track the other day with pretty good results.I have used a few other headphones, including the popular Vic Firth SIH1 (which are quiet, have no bass, and are horribly uncomfortable; I have no idea why so many GOOD drummers use them) and these blow them away. Good buy and worth your money. Plus it comes with a nice carrying case, and a two year warranty, so if you take care of them I believe they will last for a long time.

These headphones are extremely high quality, and block out the surrounding sound so you are barely able to hear it without it being harmful. Plus they have a volume adjuster built in for precise volume control. Great headphones!!

The noise isolation on these is unbelievable. They produce accurate tones across the entire spectrum. The volume control near the ear is also a nice perk. Ive tried quite a few noise canceling, noise isolation, and just plain headphones with the drums... I was likely causing hearing damage by turning the music up loud enough to hear through the drumset. These you can practice with your music at a moderate level and hear the drums perfectly. Awesome purchase for a drummer!!!

Finally, we have a set of cans that protect our hearing and sound fantastic. These are audiophile quality phones that give excellent outside noise reduction. I can practice my drums and still hear the tone of my kit and brilliance of my cymbals. I use these phones at live gigs to protect my hearing and still hear the band. The bass response can almost be felt when listening to music or practicing on my TD20 kit. I am really impressed by these drummers phones. They are very light and can be worn for hours without fatigue. I own Vic Firth SIH1's, Direct Sound EX29's, Sennhieser HD 280 Pro's, Sony MDR 7506 and 9's, AKG 240's and 271's along with custom Westone in ears and these things smoke em all in my opinion. They sound fine with an ipod or a computer and really sound unbelievable with a headphone amp. I am a professional drummer and they are the best phones that I have ever used hands down.
