On-ear versus around-ear
Bose TrueSound on-ear headpohnes differ from the TrueSound around-ear headphones in the way they sit. The on-ear headphones have a flat surface that presses to the side of your ear. The around-ear TrueSound headphones feature circumaural earcups. See #J24841. It's a matter of preference.

Connectivity
SoundTrue headphones are designed to work with your iPhone and other Apple products.
