I needed something to replace my older Sony monitor headphones and got these on a stupid deal of the day. I swear these are better. They are very clear with balanced highs, mids and bass. Very good for use as monitor headphones. I use them mainly for recording with Pro-tools and for when I use my guitar multi-effects at night but they also sound great for just listening to music. I don't now how they will hold up but they seem well made. I think these will easily stand up against other sets for the same price or even more expensive. No headphones are perfect but I give it 5 stars because you really cant ask for more especially at this price.

Detail of soundscape poor. Honestly I get much better detail from MUCH cheaper (even at SDOTD prices) Sony MDR-V150 cans. I'm very disappointed with the low max power input rating at only 200 milliwats. You will easily blow these with a headphone amplifier (Behringer, etc) if your customer wears them with loud instruments (drums, guitars, etc) in the room. I rate them in that regards with the Behringer cans which are also easily blown. I tried to find the max power rating before ordering but it was nowhere online so I took a chance. Found it on the little spec sheet that came with it even though it's not listed online. The Sony headphones above will handle 500 milliwatts easily. I'm so glad I got these on the stupid deal of the day so I'm not out much. I didn't expect these to sound like my Sony MDR-7506 cans. If I didn't have to repay the value of the free shipping and pay the return shipping these would go back.

These are very impressive! They have a great sound and have a nice tight fit for good sound isolation and will be ideal for drummers tracking in the studio. I was so impressed that I ordered a second pair from MF!!

Comments about CAD MH310 Studio Headphones:

Out of a lot of the head/earphones I've bought over the years, I've bee picky on the quality. I play guitar, electric and acoustic with a Peavey VIP 2 amplifier. I own logitech desktop speakers with a bass woofer. I love music which I my number 2 thing in life. God's my first. My reason by bringing this up was to explain, all the headsets I've own, nothing was goof compare to CAD MH310. Under one hundred, is not and price. You can almost hear the instruments and voices by being separate and apart. Not too blendish. I have a little hard time hearing the bass still but that depends on who's mixing and recording the album tracks. These pair of headphones brings out excellent bass and vibration. I don't have nothing really to complain about except, my ears gets sore after a few hours but that's my fault lol. Very light, not durable but can be pack good places. The noise cancellation is really good. More than what I expected. If you are listening to a movie or tracks or songs on PC r whatever device, noise cancels out well, if it's above 40% in volume. Well design and well made. Still living it and I say buy it.

Comments about CAD MH310 Studio Headphones:

I am no audiophile and am not particularly adept at judging sound quality. What I did notice going to these from a pair of low-end Panasonic cans is that they sound dead at low to medium volume and sound best turned up with bass heavy music. The cans are large so will probably fit best on a big head. They are lightweight and the parts all fit together tight and smooth. Bonuses are the carrying back and the screw on 1/4 adapter. Well worth the SDotD price.

Comments about CAD MH310 Studio Headphones:

Decent monitor headphone, flat in low frequency range, good for monitoring guitar/bass. Lacks high frequency clarity compared to my open back headphones. Comfortable ear cup pads and headband. Frame is barely large enough for my big head. Isolation is mediocre. Requires ~25% more from the volume knob to get these up to the same loudness as my other cans. Love the screw-on 1/4 adapter. A decent product for the price.

Bought these as the deal of the day, and what a smoking buy! I am using Sennheiser HD 280 PRO headphones and love them except for two concerns. One, they are a bit top heavy and tilt forward when I lean over. Second, I'm not crazy about coiled cords. The Cad Mh 310 fit great, have a straight cord and are very light. I would say they have a bit more top and bottom end frequency response, at least to my ears. They are very well made. These will now be my everyday mixing and tracking headphones. Money well spent!

I bought these as a "Deal of the Day". Really nice sound and I love the isolation of the closed back. They are a little heavy and they are slightly tight. I am hoping that as I wear them they stretch a little. Overall very good for general purpose studio uses and you can't beat the price.

I didn't pay much for the headphones. They do not play at the same volume my other 2 headphones do, and the sound is all mid range muddy.

The sound seems very mid scooped - hyped bass. Not good for mixing but these make decent tracking phones, especially when you want something that reproduces the low end well. They are comfortable and give a little sound isolation (although not too much). Good for bass or keyboard players. The Stupid Deal price was right though...
