I was extremely disappointed with the horrible sound when I first plugged them in - too much highs/mids, no bass, and then I realized that my iPhone case prevented them from being completely inserted. Once I was able to plug them in fully, I was impressed with the sound, if you want an overabundance of bass, get some Beats, otherwise, these have plenty of bass. I couldn't use my Beats while watching YouTube vids due to the bass being too boomy, making spoken words hard to understand. These work great and the noise-cancelling feature works fine for my uses (I don't really need it). These were a great deal since they were the Stupid Deal of the Day.

I bought this cheap on a stupid deal paying way less than what they normally sell for. Please don't waste your hard earned $$ on this product. They were merely 'OK' while they worked. I would never consider using them in a performance setting. Noise cancelling was OK, sound was good but now one side does not work. Save your money.

Comments about CAD NB2 Noise-Canceling Earphones:

Really disapointed with these earplugs as they have virtually no noise cancelation. When turned on, the "noise cancelation" merely accentuates the already pronounced mid range and doesn't do anything to deal with ambient sound. On top of this, bass response was horrible, highs were tinny and the ear inserts are uncomfortable..epic fail. AVOID

Comments about CAD NB2 Noise-Canceling Earphones:

They are a good set of earphones, but they don't exactly cancel sound. That being said, they are active speakers, so the music doesn't distort as easily. The only bad thing I have to say about them is that the cord is a little too short between the box and the earphones. I bought these on sale, so I got a good deal, but I would not recomend buying them at full price. They're nice earphones, but not that nice.

thought I'd go for the "Stupid deal of the day". Yeah it was STUPID for me to fall for it. These ear buds sounded bad, mainly because the right side didn't even work at all, and what I did hear wasn't of very great sound quality.
I'd NOT recommend these to anyone.

These earphones sound great and overall I was impressed. Until, one day later they broke when they feel out of my pocket. They just landed on the floor gently, nothing horrible, and the earphones themselves busted and all I got was static from them.

Noise canceling feature is non-esistant. They are decent little cheap head phones but the noise cancling does not work. Not for work or traveling if you have people around or babies (or snakes) on a plane.

Comments about CAD NB2 Noise-Canceling Earphones:

when turned on, the noise cancelling works well to kill background drones such as furnace fan, dishwasher, etc. However, when plugged into a mixing board, and using these as in-ear monitors for playing drums, the noise cancelling part creates horrible white noise and impossible sounds with the noise cancelling part turned on. With the noise cancelling part turned off, they are just an overpriced pair of earbuds that sound slightly above average.

Comments about CAD NB2 Noise-Canceling Earphones:

I am glad I only spent the stupid price for these. When switching on the noise cancelling, you lose the bass response to what was already lacking. For the stupid price I guess I may have been expecting too much. These are certainly priced right at the stupid price. I would not choose these if I had to buy on stage or personal listening ear plugs.

Comments about CAD NB2 Noise-Canceling Earphones:

TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY. I thought maybe it was the battery that came with them, so I used a fresh AAA from my stash. Sound was still awful. Earbuds that come with it aren't fitted well, even if I use the large set. Overall, they just don't produce good sound at all. They remind me of the sound of "on-ear" foam headphones from old cassette walkman's. Bass is non-existant, treble isn't clear. You can name the song you're hearing, but that's about it. I bought a cheap pair of Sony's for half this price at the airport that have FAR superior sound quality. As far as noise cancellation, I couldn't tell a difference between active and passive mode.
