This is the first scanner that I purchased. It is built pretty sturdy. It is a little heavier than one would expect. I have used it about a dozen times so far and am very pleased. It has a few more features that the less expensive chauvet 1.0 model. I run the Scanner in automatic mode. It's cool how it switches from gobos to colors, strobes and back to gobos. I will be purchasing another chauvet 2.0 and run them both in master slave mode. I would recommend this scanner to anyone looking to add depth to the floor.
I have two 605's. I use them with four color tracs. They move to the music and the programs are easy to set up. This haver a lot of the options that more of the high lights hsve, but without the cost. I have had my lights for about four years. I have had to replace the lamps one time. It's a good idea to have extra lamps. They are easy to replace. if you are looking for a light show try these.
I bought 2 of the scanners. They do a great job. The price is affordable and they work great.
