Improved speakers, an added stereo channel, and less weight make the 150 better than ever.

This 4-channel Fender Passport 150 PRO portable PA system is a full 3 pounds lighter than its predecessor, the Passport 150 system. Even so, it has an extra stereo channel (making it 2 total) and has improved speaker voicing. Other features include 150W output, 2 mic/line inputs, and tilt tone control on each channel, level, reverb send, master volume, master tone, and more.

Take a close look and listen and the Fender Passport PRO 150 will take you places like never before. It is the sound that truly travels. For this generation of Passport PA systems Fender kept the best of previous versions and added improved functionality so that this Passport speaker system is ideal for whatever your application may be — education and presentations, party gigs, small clubs, and coffee houses.

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

This is a very good 4-channel PA with crisp, clear sound, reverb and tone adjustable on each channel, and no frills. It is really easy to transport, durable, sets up quickly and easily, and works great. It delivers exactly what it is designed to do.

One of the other reviewers here obviously stumbled over the "VIP" mode (variably cuts Channels 2-4 when Channel 1 gets a signal) on one of the earlier models, which he/she perceived as an equipment failure. I made this mistake myself, which frustrated me until I read the instructions and found out what that VIP dial was for. It looks like they have dropped that feature from the newer models, which is probably just as well - VIP was a cool idea in its way, but it was a potential for trouble.

I rarely use the speaker cables that came with mine, since I prefer and have purchased beefier cables, but whenever I have used the ones that came with the unit they worked fine.

If I need more inputs, I hook up an inexpensive Mackie 6 channel mixer to one of the 1/4" inputs, and I have 9 channels to mess with, with every imaginable input option.

This PA won't light up Wembley Stadium, but it will deliver good professional sound in small to medium-sized venues, and even certain outdoor events. If that's what you need, you will not find a better system.

Good Idea, But Failed On the Job

    By Paitsch

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

I used one of these at a low key gig a while back, and when our singer started singing, his guitar would cut out. When he stopped, the guitar would cut back in. Obviously a flaw, but I'm not sure what happened.

Go back to the Old 150pd.

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

I owned the first one the CO. came out with. Which was great. The new one only has 2 Mic. outputs. If you want to use the 1/4 plug in's you have to buy a special Box.They have cheapend a good unit. However the sound is the same.

    Great Sound for the Money

    By Anonymous

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

Got this system a couple of weeks ago but had to wait awhile for the 2nd speaker stand to ship. Apparentl;y they think it ships as a pair but when I called and complained the manager says oh yeah we have had complaints about shipping only 1 per box. (FIX IT) NOT Fenders fault. otherwise LOVE this unit. Took it to my friends party and set it up with an ipod and was the talk of the day. awesome accoustic outside at your home with neighbors able to hear as well and not distorted. easy to handle and packages to carry

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

I have 9 Fenders 150 systems....Use them cause they are great and portable....Wow...Fender changed everything when they made the NEW Pro 150...It is horrible....They no longer give you a mic and cable...no more RCA inputs....Speaker wires are no only like 8 feet long....and there is NO BALANCE control....They have really turned a great product PD 150 into a piece of crap....dont waste your money...I am returning mine and going to look for a PD 150

    Love the sound

    By DJ-ZH1T5

Comments about Fender Passport 150 Pro Portable PA System:

I bought this to use with my zumba classes that I teach in a gym. The ceilings are open and high. The sound is great. I even had to turn it down a little because it was too loud. Great quality. Had to buy a cart to transport it because it is a little heavy for me. Otherwise, LOVE IT!
