OVERVIEW

All-in-one PA system with mics, cables, stands, and convenient equipment transporter.

Includes the Fender Passport 500 PRO portable PA system; 3 Audio-Technica M4000S hand-held dynamic mics; 3 MS-220 tripod mic stands with fixed boom; 3 XLR mic cables (20'); 2 standard speaker stands; and 1 RocknRoller R2RT (Micro) Multi-Cart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter.

Fender Passport 500 PRO:
The 8-channel Fender Passport 500 PRO Portable PA system is Fender's most powerful portable PA system and offers the greatest clarity. Fender has added an input for recording your performances with CD-quality (WAV) straight to a USB flash drive. The Passport 500 also offers CD-quality WAV and MP3 playback, and a sub-out jack has been added for an external powered subwoofer.

This Pro 500 is also 9 pounds lighter than the previous version with reduced, more portable dimensions. The redesigned speaker system features two molded plastic cabinets with a 10" woofer and a 1.2" horn-loaded tweeter in each to deliver better definition than before. When not in use, the speaker clips to the mixer for a convenient, one-piece portable system.

Take a close look and listen and the Passport PRO 500 will take you places like never before. Fender kept the best of previous Passport generations and added new features and functionality so that this Passport system is ideal for whatever your PA application may be—education and presentations, party gigs, small clubs, and coffee houses. It even gives you two ways to record: The first is a Stereo Out that allows you to hook it up to a recording device without it being affected by master volume changes. The second is a USB recorder that lets you insert a USB memory stick or flash drive. This drive can also be used for playback.

Audio-Technica M4000S:
The handheld Audio-Technica M4000S dynamic microphone combines professional features with a ridiculously affordable price tag. Audio-Technica tailors the M4000S mic's frequency response for crystal-clear vocal reproduction. Great feedback rejection and focused pickup are due to the A-T microphone's unidirectional polar pattern. The M4000S Audio-Technica mic also is equipped with a handy On/Off switch for convenience.

Audio-Technica professional microphone enhancements include a balanced XLR output, and a mic clip. Whether you're on the road, in the studio, or just performing at local gigs. Expect the all-metal Audio-Technica M4000S microphone to provide you with years of trouble-free use.

Musician's Gear MS-220 Tripod Mic Stand with Fixed Boom:
The MS-220 Tripod Microphone Stand has a thread adapter and tubular legs. Its adjustable height from floor to top thread is 35" to 61-7/8". The 30-1/4" fixed boom is not adjustable.

Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand:
The Musician's Gear Standard Speaker Stand adjusts from 42" to 71" in height, accepts 1-3/8" diameter sockets, and can hold up to 110 lb. Its aluminum construction reduces stand weight for easy transport, and its molded plastic leg housing with ergonomic knob is extremely durable.

RocknRoller R2RT (Micro) Multi-Cart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter:
The RocnRoller's Multi-Cart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter - R2RT (Micro) lets you load all your gear for a single trip into the venue. No more repeated trips to the van to get your gear indoors. Its 350-pound capacity means you can carry it all in one trip. Its features include a telescoping frame, rugged tires, and foldable sides for high loads. The Rock N Roller R2RT is essential gear for musicians who are their own roadies.

Comments about Fender Passport 500 Pro 3 Mic PA Package with Rock N Roller Cart:

I love fender products. Before the Pro 500 I bought a fender 250. Both of these pa systems are well worth the money. The mic package that came with the Pro 500 was not very good, but they will work until I can buy upgrades.

new verses old

Comments about Fender Passport 500 Pro 3 Mic PA Package with Rock N Roller Cart:

Fender has done a great job with this one in regards to sound quality.... yes in most cases it requires far less EQ to sound great but if your using an omni style mic through this system do your best to get the speakers away from where your presenting or try and get a cardioid patern to the condenser mic your using. From experience...
the newer version of the Passport 500 "Pro" does not have the feed back filter built into it... this was a feature on the previous model, as I have both and well there are pros and cons to both. The Pro version does indeed sound much better and more full, but the older version certainly had more EQ options and when your using a regular hand held cardioid or uni dirrectional mic the new version out shines the older one like night and day, but on the older version, the feed back filter was a god send when you used a condenser or head worn omni mic, or lapel mic. It just made all the difference in the wolrd.
With just basic tone controls on the "Pro" it's scketchy at best when using omni style mics of any sort as you are limited to what EQ you can adjust and you now have no feed back filter. I understand them wanting to make it lighter and I appreciate it because I use this system a lot but they should have left either more EQ available for pro users or kept the feed back filter for rental users. I certainly recomend this system for anyone as like I said I have both versions and use them regularly but get your dealer to try out the omni mic of choice in front of the system first if thats what it will be used for. For music play back and even a small band etc it rocks and the sub out works great and really fills out the bottom end allowing you to use this for 'DJ' ing or what ever. Fender was one of the first to make these all in one compact systems and I swear by them... the one has been in full time duty at a church every week, some times 3 times a week and a gigging childrens entertainer before that and is now 4 years old and has been problem free and still sounds great. The pro version has been touring with a childrens entertainer and is our home theatre system since they came out as we were one of the first in Canada to get the Pro version.
Regards
bullet proof rig.
the older system had two mics and speakcon connectors for the speaker cables, way more reliable, and the feed back filter. The Pro version has no mics, no feed back filter and back to 1/4 inch speaker connectors. The Pro has the USB function and it works great for play back or recording so like I said pros and cons to both...

Fender Passport 500 top of the line . . .

By Eileen Hartles

Comments about Fender Passport 500 Pro 3 Mic PA Package with Rock N Roller Cart:

If you're tired of messing with 5000 cables, 600 speakers and getting a headache and a hernia trying to do the sound setup, then the Fender Passport 500 is for you.

So coffeehouse, nursing home, park, hall, school . . . . You just want to grab your Fender Passport 500 and get setup in minutes.

Sometimes you have to spend money to get quality and for what you get, this really is the deal.

Let's face it, if you get a hernia for lugging your 7000 watts speakers about made out of wardrobes, you're going to have more money in medical bills. Get it sorted and get a Fender Passport 500!
The speakers have got rich clear sound with deep bass.

You even have a USB so you can hit just 1 button and record your gig. So you can listen to it playback later on your pc and see how good or how bad you did!

It's even got a feature which eliminates feedback with the flick of a switch.
Top quality in sound and portability.

Clear controls and user friendly.

We should have bought this years ago!
We opted to get the combination deal with the package including the 2 speaker, Mixer, 3 microphone cables, 3 microphones, rollercart, 2 speaker stands, 3 microphone stands and they even through in a Fender Squier Acoustic guitar.

What a deal. So compact in size and price!
