i bought this set for a small gigs and they've hold up pretty good, we're mainly using them for the back up vocals. The sound is good and fat enough to cut through. real good price also

Overall, taking the price and quality together, this is a real good value. The mic stands alone will last, even if the cords and microphones don't.
Pretty standard stuff here, but no cheap surprises, either.
The mics are not Shures or Blues, but they sound good, and aren't tinny or boomy. The mic stands are really very well built, not too heavy. The fittings are nice and tight, and the added cable clips are a bonus.
Really very good equipment for the price. This isn't slam bang stage gear or high recording quality gear, but it is quite adequate for all-purpose use.

For the price I got two nice solid tripod boom mic stands easily worth the price. I also got two 20' nice quality mic cables I also got two MV1000 mics... not exceptional but perfectly serviceable. Anyone need two cables, or two stands, or a couple of basic mics? Why would you not do this deal?

At first I was skeptical about buying these, but figured I would give them a try since it was such a good deal. When I received them I was very impressed with the quality of the stands. My bands uses Proline stands and I personally think these are better. The cables are just regular cables and they do the job, so far I haven't had any problems out of them. I bought this pack to use at home for demo recording and just wanted to get something cheap. The mics seem to work well, I used them to record acoustic guitar and electric through a half stack and they sounded good. I would recommend them to anyone, and if the deal comes around again I'll buy

Two boom mic stands and two nice sounding mics with clips and XLR cables for this price- I couldn't resist the deal and my opinion so far is that I didn't get what I paid for, I got a lot more than I paid for. The only thing that would have made this deal any sweeter is if the mics had on-off switches.
The boom mic stands are standard stands, not flimsy junk and the mics are nice and hot with a warm natural sound. The only drawback is that there is no on-off switch on the mics.
Initial opinion is that the quality is excellent. I use the mics clipped on the stands and don't hold them in my hand so I don't know if there is much handling noise for hand-held use. The mics are metal, not plastic, with a nice warm sound and the clip and XLR cable comes with them.
Two boom mic stands with two Gear One MV1000 microphones for this price. For this price it is a great buy, or better described as a "steal". I haven't used the equipment very long so I can't speak to the durability, but the short term value rating is that it was a fantastic deal.
