The right CDplayer has given me some minor problems, but it works. After extended use the cds tend to skip. I don't feel confident enough to bring this system to a large event, let alone a club, but its fine for a gettogether. Pitch controls could be better. The transition doesn't seem to be fast enough, xo i woudln't recomend moving the pitch bars on full volume, it'll screw the entire mix. The cue isn't at all responsive, not enough for any speedy tech. music or DnB, but works well for slower hiphop oriented styles. No complaints about the built in mixer, a mixer is a mixer is a mixer. After a week or two of owning it, i realized that the possibilities for expansion with this machine are slightly limited. If you're plugged into more than one amp, or a stereo system, you may have trouble finding ports for other turntables, cdplayers, drum machines, and pads. My favorite part is the fader, perfect for smoot transitions for any slower styles. I recomend this to any artist that is thinking of getting serious about djing or recording in a studio setting. But, if you start out with this, good luck leaving the bedroom.

i bought this thing with the intention that it would be a good single-unit mixing station, but come to find out, it skips and has to buffer! how the heck are you supposed to do a clean loop when it has to buffer for about 5 seconds, and then skips during the loop? the least it could do is be able to play a cd normally, and it fails at that! garbage! DO NOT BUY

Comments about Gemini CDM-3600 - Dual CD Mixing Console:

I djed 5 different parties with this dj set up and 2-3 hours into every set, the cds would start skipping. My crowd would absolutely go mad and boo me off the stage, how embarrassing. I called the manufactor and they said " sorry we might not have put the fans in to cool the decks " are you kidding me? terrible company

I have entered the DJ realm and am very pleased wiht the features and ease of use for this machine. Still leaning the "ropes" but good enough to get complements and requests for future gigs. Easy set up and use make it simple and the cost was very affordable for a quality product.

    This Product Skips

    By Shanny

Comments about Gemini CDM-3600 - Dual CD Mixing Console:

I am a professional DJ and I grabbed this for practice out side of the club and small gig parties. When ever I am in the middle of a set about 2-3 hours in the CD's begin to skip and the crowd gets pissed off. This product needs major help with the disc drives, this is not a good product to be gign' with.

So I was doing my research on the top all in one units for beginner dj's like myself and I came across this cdm-3600, I decided to give it a try and it has been the best decision I have ever made. This unit really is flawless. I highly recommend this for the beginner dj's who are just getting started.

    Pretty good

    By Clinton-RDBfg

    from Louisiana

Comments about Gemini CDM-3600 - Dual CD Mixing Console:

Once I got this in the mail I immediately started it up and I was satisfied with everything from the nice EQ setup to the jog wheel features. The only drawback I experienced was an annoying scratch sound that could be heard every now and then through the track. I don't think this is normal so I might end up sending it back for another one. I still recommend novice dj's to buy this because this setup is really fun and easy to dj with. XD

    it handles

    By DJ N.Gar

    from San Diego

Comments about Gemini CDM-3600 - Dual CD Mixing Console:

I've had this setup for over a year now; I've played gigs and the sort. The killing eq on it is great and the jog wheel and ease of cuing stuff was simple. Howwever beatmatching was a pain in the a**. You'd have to write down mixes and their bpm's beforehand doing a gig cus ull end up spending half of your time beat-matching and not djing!!Good console overall, great for starters and small giggers.
