OVERVIEW

A performers portable system.

The Harbinger M350 Portable PA System provides 350 watts of clean, articulate Class-D power (1100 watts peak) through a 10” subwoofer and two 4.75” satellite speakers.

It’s ideal for medium-size venues such as parties, dance floors, presentations and schools. The built-in mixer offers three independent channels with variable inputs that you can balance down to a stereo mix, and a 2-band shelving EQ to help sculpt your overall tone. Plus, it offers a wide selection of built-in reverbs and delay effects — that means less gear to carry.

The compact and powerful 10” subwoofer (with level control) delivers the exact low-end power you need, and the two satellite speakers can be positioned equidistant from the sub for superior sonic imaging and accurate spatial detail. The highly configurable M350 also features built-in Bluetooth® audio so you can play tracks from any mobile device for background, accompaniment, performance enhancement and more. The M350 is specifically designed to travel easy with speakers that cleverly tuck away into the subwoofer cabinet for effortless portability from rehearsal to car to stage.

I am using the Harbinger M350 differently than it's intended purpose, & not as a stand alone PA... But with amazing results. I am a solo musician & lead worship at a small/medium sized venue. I go right out of my Harbinger L1402FX-USB 14 Channel mixer to the Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer. I then go left out to 2 daisy chained Harbinger Vari 2115's. So I have 2 conventional speakers AND a line array system w/ a subwoofer. The best of both worlds.....

VOX are crystal clear. My Korg PA4X sound incredible, & it handles the bass & drums from the keyboard with ease....I think the sub in the M350 enhances the super crisp Vari 2115's & lends a dimension to the overall sound that is quite unique.

I also I use my Fishman Artist Performer to direct out into the system, so my Taylor & Breedlove acoustic guitars sound out of this world with 4 speakers....

I methodically waited for all these Harbinger products listed to go on sale @ MF & have pieced together an awesome PA system for less than Six hundred & fifty.

Bought this for my digital piano for use in a symphony orchestra. Works well, despite any "amp" never making a digital piano sound like a piano :^)

My main issues - packaging...
The satellite speakers are great due to multi-configuration, but the knob screw mechanism to attach them to the subwoofer for transport is ridiculous. Too small - can't get your hand in there to turn the knob adequately. It's a struggle.

Carrying case for satellite speaker stands earns another "ridiculous". There is zero clearance in the bag for anything other than the stands. Those barely fit. It is hard to zip up, and it feels like it's going to tear at any moment. Try adding the 1/4" cables and the power cord, and it's almost impossible to close the carrying case. There is inadequate protection for the small platforms on which the satellite speakers sit if you use this amp in the pole configuration. I'm afraid one small bang of the bag against a hard surface and those small platforms are history. Without them you cannot use the pole.

Poles themselves - it is not obvious how to remove them from the tripod stand. It was a struggle to detach them from the tripod (they screw in to a weird mechanism of screws at the very bottom of the tripod. Once detached it does fit nicely in the top of the subwoofer - no issues there.

Because of all the tight fits and small knobs, it takes forever to set up and tear down this thing. So add 10 minutes to your typical gig setup just to get this up and running.

Instructions are also not complete - it doesn't fully describe stereo vs. mono mode, so you have to play with the controls a bit - I think it's "stereo" setting, even if you install the satellites in "mono" mode as the instructions say. If you leave the control in mono you will get no sound.

Overall a really nice concept, nice bass, nice treble. But very frustrating to assemble. Needs better thought on carrying cases to manage all the individual pieces.

Comments about Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer:

I Got this "on sale" a week after it was a SDOTD, for even less than SDOTD.
GREAT bang for buck at the sale price. At normal price I may have been disappointed.
Though I haven't tested it yet to do what I intend for it, I did set it up and cranked some Bluetooth mp3s through it. Very nice sound with good volume. Great bottom end. Top end maybe will distort slightly at cranked volumes.
But for build quality, sound, ease of transport, and setup. An easy 4 stars.

Comments about Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer:

Easy to assemble, speaker poles seem sturdy and come with a case. Simple installation. Sound quality seems pretty good, doesn't have real deep bass, but solid enough. I use these with my Roland TD-50 and they sound good. They can get quite loud, seems loud enough for a small performance - 50~ people. Only negatives so far is there is a noticeable hum even at low volumes.

Comments about Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer:

Good sound, well built, plenty of bass. It'll give your acoustic guitar a good balanced sound and the vocals are pretty good too. Good for small clubs. If you're a start up singer/player, you need this thing for the money. I've been playing for 50 years and know a little bit about these things.

Comments about Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer:

Well constructed, good quality sound good bass plenty of value with very little feedback. Great for small clubs Very impressed for the cost. Can be set up three different ways. Photo does not show tripods that come with it. You can set them up on each side with stereo switch on amp or lock them together and set them on top of the cabinet . Tripod pole also screws on top bass cabinet. Speakers tuck inside bass cabinet for transport. Tripods have carry bag and take up very little room.

No master volume, only one XLR input, no line out and no separate EQ on channels. You can still get your sound with a little tweaking. The sound quality stands right up there with my Fishman Loud Box Performer. Excellent sound from Drum machine as well. My buddies all want to take it home.

If you play and sing this is excellent for a starting performer. You won't get better sound for the money. If you get it on sale it just makes things sweeter. Very satisfied given the price.

I am a retired pro musician and now play at only small venues. I have sold all of my large and heavy equipment and needed something that I could use in a restaurant and small lounge atmosphere. This system is fine for this type of playing. I did get to very good 10 inch speakers which took the place of the tiny satellite speakers and find that to be better sounding.

Comments about Harbinger M350 Portable PA System with Subwoofer:

I am a semi-professional 55 year old multi-instrumentalist and I am always looking for the max in compact, lightweight, easy to transport pro sound. The Harbinger m350 pack plenty of volume, good clear sound and a nice bass. I used it today for an outdoor church service of about 75 to 100 people. I ran two microphones and a guitar through the built in mixer. I only turned the volume to half and I had more than enough power. I actually cannot believe how much power this pa can provide.

The best part is the comments from a good friend of mine who was in the congregation and who is also a semi-pro musician. My friend owns the "industry standard" for this type of portable line array. He really liked this M350 and commented that the M350 was very "clear". That says nothing bad about his system but the M350 is more compact and almost half the price. I love that.

Never expected so much out of a small package, set system up for a test in a 250 seat church with a 4 pc band: 3 vocals, guitar, violin, bass, full set of drums. every one was blown away. Just ordered another system. Works well for 250 seats. I also have 2 Fender Expo's/ LD Maui 11's and 2 HK Nano 300's this system is more powerful than them. 10 inch subwoofer can be felt in my chest. JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!
