- Multiple modes of Intelligent Release Control technology for transparent limiting
- New "Intelligent III" mode provides exceptional handling of transients without side effects
- Stereo link control lets you unlink stereo channels to process left and right separately
- Predictive limiting of "inter-sample clipping" keeps true analog levels in check
- Adjustable threshold/margin, release and character controls
- Visual feedback provided through Gain Reduction Trace meters, a loudness histogram, and Mini-Spectrum display
Equalizer features
- Analog-modeled EQ or digital linear phase filtering
- Spectrum analyzer that offers real-time and average modes, critical or third octave bands, and snapshots
- Matching EQ takes snapshots of recordings to create "automatic" EQ curves
- Unique new visualizations of phase delay and group delay by frequency

It arrived earlier than expected and everything was included in the box including my serial number. It would of been nice if Ozone 5 would have come with a small, more in-detail manual on how to use some of the features. Only because I like to read and learn when I'm relaxing. But overall...I'm really enjoying it.

You just can't beat the ease of use that this offers. Everything you need to master is right there and easy to tweak. Of course, you still have to play something worthwhile (garbage in, garbage out) but this will give you some powerful tools to make things sound pretty good, right out of the box with the presets. Wish I had gotten this right from the start.

I thought it odd that the box wasn't shrink wrapped, as though it had been used. Then when I loaded it onto my computer, I discovered the serial number was missing. I've been in contact with Musician's Friend regarding this matter, but it remains unresolved. If I don't have the serial number, I can't authorize the program, therefore I can't use the program after 10 days.
