I have used 2 pairs of these for the last six years and played over 800 shows with them! We have packed them, dropped them, scarred them up... and they still sound as good as the day I bought them! They sound great especially when powered with enough wattage. You can't go wrong with this speaker!

Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I have the sound factor series of this, which is the line that these replaced. Almost identical features and same great value. All I have to say is They have lasted me 7 years now and still take a beating. I am running a crown xti 4000 with 2 of these on each side and they work great. A subwoofer is mandatory if you want superior bottom end, but the lower 15 does do a great job on it's own. To the guy that said he was running 2 of these with a bridge mono amp I have 1 question. What amp were you using cause most bridge mono do not go to 2 ohms.
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
Pro sound guys HATE the JRX line. Why? They simply do not sound as good as the upper JBL series or many other high-end speakers. I own the entire JRX line from cabs to subs. I use them for hardcore mosh pit music. They work fine for that. These speakers are very bright, however. They push the highs forward. This is kind of cool when your program material is yelling, growling, and cookie monster vocals. People want the china to shatter their ears. BUT if your material is more subtle you won't like these. A-B them with the SRX or MRX series and you will imediately hear the difference. The MDF construction requires you to keep them very dry and handle them gently. I needed to get up and running and learn how to run a PA without spending big $ on speakers. I run FOH/monitors on xti amps along with Drive Rack PAs and dBx compressors. The bands say they like the sound, fans like it, so I am good for now. I DO plan on going with the better JBL line someday. If you can't afford better, consider these.
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I own a pair of these JBLs and use them mostly for full band performance-running kick, snare, guitars, bass, vocals, and everything else. Apparently after a certain show the lower 15" speaker on one of the cabs got overpowered and stopped putting out completely. Keep in mind I was running these with a crown amp at 1850 watts bridged between the two of them... the amp wasn't peaking during the entirety of the show AND I was running a sub w/ crossover too. So I took the broken cab in and the electrician said it was definitely from over powering. Fortunately my sub makes up for any lows lost with this lower speaker, but its still a shame because JBL's warranty doesn't cover abuse. over than there fragile state, these cabs do a great job with clarity and loudness in general. If you are going to get these BE CAREFUL and watch your levels closely, especially around the mid-low to low frequencies.. consider a limiter. Goodluck!
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I've only had these for 6 months or so but have used them for a full band setup 4 times. With the right eq, these jbl's are brilliant. The coverage is fantastic as the volume remains consistent when you are 10' or 50' away. Great for handling a lot at once. Low end is lacking, I'd definitely reccomend an 18" sub + crossover. Great speakers overall!
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I use 2 of these speakers with a full band (half stacks and all that crap) and the vocals cut right through the mix. The drums are even mic'd and the vocals cut through loud and clear.
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
These speakers will last you a lifetime. I have own them for more than 5 years. I used them as my band's main PA system over a pair of 18" DAS sub-woofers and as my DJ gear. The tweeters will never go out. You will simply sound great. You won't regret it.
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I own these and the vocals cant cut through a drum set that isnt even mic'd.. super mad about the waste of money, dont buy low end jbl product. if your a dj, then these are great. but not for bands!!
Comments about JBL JRX125 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:
I bought these, and to tell you the truth, these things are loud, I normally use by subs when I dj, but for one time I decided to just use these by them selves, and wow, I was amazed, these things are so loud, I would recommend these to any dj, th only thing I don't like is that the cabinets don't have corner protectors. But I used a QSC RMX 850 AND I BRIDGED IT, IT WAS CLIPPING THE WHOLE 6 HOURS, BUT WOW, IT WAS SO LOUD, I WAS WAY TO AMAZED.IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME THAT THEY ARE LOUD, BUY SOME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY.
