Great JBL quality speaker, but the fans run continuously and their noise is kind of annoying at lower volumes. Not a problem at gigs, but definitely a problem at lower volume rehearsal. I wish the fan would only kick on when needed to reduce heat, not all the time.

    Just received my 712's today.Tried them out for acoustic/vocal reinforcement in my rehearsal studio with a small Mackie VLZ Pro. Couldn't be happier.I much prefer the sound of the wood boxes!
