sounds good in a small room, goes along with the other instruments really good. built-in effects are cool.
I bought this system for doing karaoke and I was very supprised at the quality. It was very simple to setup and man will it crank. I plugged my Sony Vaio laptop into it during breaks and played my playlist of MP3's and even though the line input does not appear to be stereo it still sounded awesome. For the money I feel very fortunate that I made the Kustom choice. The casing on this stuff is very tuff and can take a beating. So, if you are looking for a great PA for a good price this is your bet.
Nice little PA. We use it for band rehearsals with vocals through it. With a little tweaking on the eq and adding a little reverb it sounds good. I also use it when I play out with acoustic guitars etc. Acoustic sounds good going direct to pa. I've had this pa for a few years now and have never had a problem with it. For the money, you can't beat it.
After owning this PA for two years, I believe I can offer the best rating for this PA that you'll find out there.First of all, the very best feature of this PA is the recording output, which can be hooked directly into your computer. That's right, a life saver, throw your four track mixers away. Will record directly and perfectly into the computer, the quality of recording depends of your own hardware, such as sound card or mics. --Positives--+Seven inputs, including two sensitive "instrument acoustic electric" input, five mic inputs, and seven standard inputs.+Full seven slot EQ, do some research and you can make whatever you want to record sound crisp and clean. +7 build in effects, some more valuable than others, no huge variety, but nice to have on board. Again, eliminate that mixer and effects. +Able to record and play through speaker simultaneously. +Many aux and effects inputs, Pre amp, monitor, footswitch, all very useful and high quality.--Negatives---No high/mid/low dials, just one tone dial. Sometimes not sufficient, and forces you to adjust the EQ levels, or toggle with on recording program. -Though the sound effects are reliable and a good feature, four of them are very similar [small/large hall and small/large room]. I would've been more satisfied with a wa/phaser than four ambiance creating options. -The included speakers are NOT high quality. Both of mine have broken within a year. Just not good quality. They work well if they work, though not huge sound capacity, but work well as stage amps if you've got some more powerful amps supporting them. I've been able to get six amps hooked up through the outputs, all sounding clean and strong. Not aweful, but do not meet my standards. Insufficient for live shows, decent for jamming/ recording. -----Hope this helped you. Email me, and I'll send you some straight recordings I've produced from the PA[without external effects, standard dynamic mics as I assume most of you will use, since this isn't a $2000 PA.] The positives outweigh the negatives, very dependable, portable, and I'm proud to have it in my equiptment selection. ---
pretty good pa...has lots of effects, but most of them dont do much. as long as the speakers are set right there isnt a whole lot of feedback. there is no difference in volume when the knob is 3/4 and full. the speakers dont seem to handle the power of the pa very well, especially with more than one thing plugged in it. (each speaker handles 80 watts the pa is 200). its alot of money, but its a decent pa
I bought this system but with the recommendation if the seller upgraded to the 15" cabinets. It has been great except that the plastic parts where the stands fit into have broken and I don't know where to get replacements. Sound is great but it would be nice to be able to pan lef or right. At the moment we are using it as a secondary powered monitor system.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money on an acoustic amp, buy this PA system. Sometimes the simpler things in life can be appreciated for being simple. I love the fact that this system does the job and sounds great without having to buy all the bells and whistles. I was originally looking for an acoustic guitar amp, but when looking at the prices, I decided to give this system a shot. I love the way that the acoustic/electric sounds through it and very satisfied with my purchase. Loud enough, simple enough, and affordable...can't beat that!
This system is an excellent value. Good quality for a reasonable price.
I've had this PA for a few months now and it is great! I've used it to mic the drums, guitar, vocals, and even the bass. It all sounds great through the 12" speakers. This may not be powerful enough for the big gigs, but for smaller shows it will do the job. It might not be suitable for harder music like metal either. Unless you are just running vocals and maybe guitar through it. A great PA!
Starting over after quite a few years off,I want it all back again. This fit perfect, sounds good(with a few outside fx)and has some nice features. The price is right, looks cool in my new studio and I had money left over to get the other gear I needed.
